  1. Bloomington South 36 Terre Haute South 34 (2:42, 4th) In a game where defense is an afterthought, TH South Braves score on a 2-yard run after an 80-yard drive.
  2. Bloomington South 36 Terre Haute South 27 (6:05, 4th) B-South scores on a 29-yard QB keeper by Combs and successfully go for two on a pass play to push the lead to 9 points.
  3. Bloomington South 28 Terre Haute South 27 (9:18, 4th) TH South drives deep into Panther territory but settle for 21-yard FG after B-South holds.
  4. Bloomington South 28 Terre Haute South 24 (2:54, 3rd) In a game that was delayed until Saturday morning over weather, Bloom. South scored on a 15-yard TD pass from QB Duncan Combs to WR Sam Giles to regain the lead.
  5. The Terre Haute South @ Bloomington South game will resume Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Panthers field. It will be 24-21 TH South with 1:03 left in the 2nd qtr when the game resumes.
  6. Bloomington North 24 Terre Haute North 14 (final) The North Cougars played a mistake-filled game unlike last week when they played a mistake-free game against Bloom. South, which smells of a hangover game for them. I don't know how many penalties they ended up with, but they had 9 offensive holding penalties in the game which stopped drives in their track.
  7. Terre Haute South 24 Bloomington South 21 (game postponed because of weather with 1:03 left in the 2nd qtr) They haven't indicated so far when the game will resume and the location. This is the 2nd game of the season where B-South has had a game postponed because of weather with the other game at Martinsville.
  8. Bloomington North 24 Terre Haute North 14 (10:50, 4th) A 29-yard TD pass from Dash King to Jorian Brooks as the B-North Cougars push the lead back to 10 points.
  9. Bloomington North 17 Terre Haute North 14 (2:10, 3rd) TH North scored on a fairly short pass play to Zyeiar White after he broke a tackle and took it into the end zone. The B-North Cougars are the opposite of last week's game with Bloom. South and they have been mistake prone the entire game. They picked up their 8th holding call on offense before the Patriot TD.
  10. Bloomington North 17 Terre Haute North 7 (6:28, 3rd) TH North's star RB Zyeiar White scored on a 65-yard run. B-North had done a good job on White up to this point and he had just 37 yards rushing at the half.
  11. Bloomington North 17 Terre Haute North 0 (8:17, 3rd) This score might be worse if it wasn't for the B-North Cougars getting hit with a rash of holding calls on offense which is at 7 holding calls and counting.
  12. Bloomington North 10 Terre Haute North 0 (half)
  13. Bloomington North 10 Terre Haute North 0 (6:42, 2nd) B-North's Jorian Brooks scored on an 82-yard TD run.
  14. Bloomington North 3 Terre Haute North 0 (start of 2nd) They just resumed play there after the lightning delay and TH North has the ball to start the qtr.
  15. Terre Haute South 24 Bloomington South 21 (1:03, 2nd) A huge PI penalty on B-South gave the TH South Braves a second opportunity when they would have had a 4th and 5 at midfield and possibly a punting situation. The Braves were able to score on yet another big TD run to retake the lead. Right after the extra point, lightning was spotted in the area and they went into a lightning delay with 1:03 left in the half. South's biggest weak link has been their inexperienced secondary and they have shown little improvement in game five of the season, and they have been burned again in this game.
  16. Bloomington South 21 Terre Haute South 17 (4:21, 2nd) B-South scored on another running TD by Braylen Townsend, his third TD of the game. It was on a long drive that was a mix of runs and passes. So far, the defense for both teams can't seem to stop the other team's offense.
  17. Terre Haute South 17 Bloomington South 14 (9:31, 2nd) THS Braves returned the kickoff after the Panther score, 92 yards to immediately give the Braves the lead back. The South Panthers have now given up in a row, a 74-yard TD run and the long kickoff return.
  18. Bloomington South 14 Terre Haute South 10 (9:45, 2nd) B-South scored on an 18-yard TD run by Braylen Townsend. Both teams are having problems on defense stopping the other teams running game.
  19. Terre Haute South 10 Bloomington South 7 (end of 1st) TH South's Mason Lewis broke a couple of tackles and ran down the right sideline for 74 yards for a quick TD. Once he broke loose there was no one in the secondary to stop him.
  20. Bloomington South 7 Terre Haute South 3 (0:52, 1st) B-South Panthers went on a long drive and scored on almost all running plays with the Braves having trouble slowing down RB Braylen Townsend who scored the TD.
  21. Terre Haute South 3 Bloomington South 0 (6:03, 1st) TH South received the game opening kickoff and hung on to the ball for almost 7 minutes before they were forced to kick a 32 yard FG.
  22. Bloomington North 3 Terre Haute North 0 (6:04, 1st) B-North received the opening kickoff of the game and ran a ton of time off the clock with a drive dying at the 12-yard line and a 29-yard FG was kicked. Before they could kickoff after the score, lightning hit the area and they are in a weather delay.
  24. Old photo of the football crowd at University High School in Bloomington. This looks like it dates back to somewhere in the late 50s and maybe in the early 60s. The press box looks like a cracker box and one kid in the crowd is in a coat and tie which is something you usually don't see among students except maybe during the King and Queen ceremony in a homecoming game.
  25. When they built Bloomington High School's current location which opened in 1966 on S. Walnut St, it was built to handle a school population of over 3,000 students, but exactly what the figure was I don't know. At the time, University High School had a school population of around 500 students. When they built North back in 1972, they closed University High with most if not all of those students going to North, but I have no idea of what the capacity is at North.
