  1. Who beat them I.O? Yeah FC is better than that team was. Also Wenkers Wright couldn't do much because of an ankle injury. Definitely gonna be an uphill battle playing up there but hopefully FC can come up with something.
  2. Good shot of how bad the fog was. I've never seen anything like that during a football game.
  3. It wasn't easy. The Fog made it impossible to throw the ball. So both teams basically loaded the box. Coach B, the staff, all the players, they made just enough adjustments to get it done. Went to a Wildcat with Jackson Stone which hasn't been on film all season. He gashed them enough to get the final TD. It'll be interesting to see if he plays QB next year being one of the best athletes in this area. Great win. B-South will be tough,
  4. Great atmosphere. The Fog sucked. Great adjustments after halftime switching to a Wildcat. Really enjoyed getting to congratulate coach Bragg at Midfield. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.
  5. Floyd Central wins! Sectional Champions! Only 1 poster on here picked against them!
  6. FC blocks a punt for a TD. 10-10 Gotta get #32 going. 100% Correction. 10-9. Holder bobbled PAT.
  7. EN up 10-3 at Half. Floyd has turned their D up. 2nd half will be interesting.
  8. FCs defense has adjust well but their offense is struggling.
  9. North stomping on the logo before the game. Real classy bunch.
  10. He might. Him and Sherron Wilkerson are tight.
  11. Super proud and excited for the FC boys tomorrow. I've talked to some of them. They're fired up. This might be the best team they've had since 98. I've seen every team. They get punished for a bad 1st qtr up in Whiteland but they're a really good team.
  12. I.O. I'm just trying to be optimistic for them! On a side note, I do know AJ through a mutual friend and have spent some time around him. Very competent guy.
  13. AJ Moye will find someone good for that job.
  14. I've heard that FC is trying to get a series with them at some point. Or there has been some talk of that. Would love to go up there and watch a game.
  15. Here is an interesting question that I want to ask. Ok, you look at schools like Heritage Hills and East Central, and we'll go with Brownstown as well. These are all in that "powerhouse", "highly successful" tier. I'll choose my words carefully here. Those are schools you'd consider to be in kind of the "Semi-Rural" type of community. What is it about communities like this, that makes the football programs so consistently good? Does tradition just breed the success? Does it make every kid in the community grow up wanting to play football? Is it the former players who were really good, coming back to coach youth? Are they just exceptional at hiring coaches? What is your alls opinions on how this plays out?
  16. As someone who has played HS sports and coached youth sports, I am very aware that talent matters. I'm sure Coach Bragg would win more Sectional and Regional championships at Bloomington South than he could here at FC. Jimmy and Joes matter. Absolutely.
  17. Agree 100%. I'm not criticizing coach Cooley. I just feel it's a much deeper issue than the HC.
  18. Oh I know. If Steve were the HC at FC this year, they still would've won the HHC. I know it's not all his fault. I think a big issue is that NA acts like nothing but basketball matters. Not that Floyd Central is a football powerhouse but they do care about it more and spend more time developing their youth system.
  19. Also, that was probably one of those "encouraged to retire because you're not winning enough" meetings. I'd be shocked if Steve Cooley doesn't move on from NA. For the record, I am not saying anything negative about that guy. But after a winless season it's probably best for both sides to part ways. NA just isn't producing talent. I think it's a bigger problem than the coach.
  20. I would imagine they're gonna take some big swings here.
  21. You're right. I was able to obtain the IHSAA rules. I think it's the dumbest shit I've ever heard of, but that's par for the course.
  22. It's basically been told me to like this. Bloomington South will have have hosted every game in their sectional draw. Since Floyd Central and Evansville North will have played 1 road game a piece, the winner of that game will host the Regional. There are exceptions for 2A, 4A, and 6A. Not 5A.
  23. He's wrong. Determining the host for a regional game Fewer hosted games: The team that has hosted fewer times during the current tournament series will be the host. Equal hosted games: If both teams have hosted the same number of times, the higher seed hosts. Sectional final: If a school advances from a sectional without hosting, and that sectional number is higher than the opponent's sectional number, it may host. Exception for 2A, 4A, & 6A: In these classes, a host is designated as the school that has not hosted either the sectional final or the regional
