You probably know more about Castle than I do since you know people down there. I've heard they really aren't that good this year. But I guess we will find out in the month of November. I do think Doug Hurt is a really good coach.

Castles 2 best wins were against a very down Reitz team and a 5-5 Mater Dei team. Their other 4 wins were against teams with 0-3 wins. Yes, FC beat nobody but BNL. But they are rated 20 spots higher than Castle in the Sagarin. If they can avoid turnovers, they'll be fine.

Buddy. If Floyd Central doesn't fumble 3 times in the 1st qtr like they did against Whiteland, they'll have a chance to beat those teams. They weren't as good last year as they are this year and played right there with a way better Castle team last year. But they're not good enough to hand teams the ball at the 20 yd like like they did vs Whiteland.

I wasn't able to attend the FC/NA game. But what a game for Luke Jacobi. Sebastian Robertson is one of the best RBs in the state and he's really done the heaving lifting all season. But it's nice to go into Sectionals with that 1-2 punch. Dangerous running game.

I have absolutely nothing against anyone at New Albany. So if any of the coaches or coaches wives are reading this, it's not personal. But New Albany needs mass changes. Their culture is so bad right now. I'm saying the right thing for the kids. I welcome a tough rivalry.

This may sound wierd coming from a Floyd Central Alumus/Fan. But I really want to see New Albany football get fixed. This rivalry was so much fun in the 90s and early 2000s. I mean, I can't remember the last time I looked forward to the Rusty Anchor game? Even the Semi-State NA team happened in a year where Floyd Central was down. I'm not sure what they need to do? But I would imagine that after a winless season, they would really take a hard look at everything they're doing in regards to football. I know the HC will be blamed. But he's won with good rosters. They aren't producing talent. Plain and simple.

I'm not sure about that? Floyd Central is better than even some of the good Floyd Central teams are. I think their OL combined with maybe the most Physical RB in the state in Robertson will give them a chance to win those games. I've talked to the coach and the players. Believe me. They want it badly. From what I have been told, North is better than Castle.

I think Floyd Central has a very good chance to win their Sectional. They had a really good Castle team on the ropes last season. Castle seems down. Evansville North is pretty good but FC at home would have a chance.

Did you like the old stadium, or new stadium better? I played in the old stadium. The old heads preferred that venue.

Did Salem drop down to 2A? They used to be 3A? Correct?

Does anyone have a theory on this? Is it because a lot of these schools push basketball pretty hard?
