  1. There were so many facilities, across the state, rockin back in the day, with Hinkle being one of them. Man the basketball memories.
  2. U R right, on both counts. That’s the reason for the 99. And Stevens really has not produced in New England. Again, time is critical in theses situations. But it it’s a step by step processes and situations are continually changing as time is passing. This is why AD’s make the Big bucks.
  3. Well I’m not privy to any decision making , that hunch is as good as any right now. Irish said it, the delay here now, is wait for the candidate to bow out of the tournament. Since we know Stevens is 99% out.
  4. Meh. Won’t be Stevens. I’m sure the named candidate will not be any that we have all been talking about.
  5. Lol, misery loves company, PU goes out in first round.Indiana’s not up to Purdue’s level, lol. That’s how bad it is.
  6. Well , this makes sense. Why wait, when time is precious, unless you have to wait. So you have it narrowed down? Give you three guesses NAME that coach.
  7. So much for my take on Archie(little Ryan) Miller. Scott D. Has some agenda, and a sharp axe,and it does not include Ryan Miller.
  8. I say it’s good enough for the fans. Stay great in the conference, die in the big dance. Has been forever.
  9. On the surface, all the above mentioned coaches have had success in the public eye.where it gets difficult for the Athletes director ,is all the peripheral stuff he has to dig around for. Time consuming job for the decision makers. While I don’t know the psyche of Scott Dolsen , I have a good feeling he will get the “Guy”. He has the pulse of the University and the people who support it. He has been around the program for all of his adult life, education included. And the gonads ,to pull the trigger ,for a $10 million buy out. Something Fred Glass didn’t have, when dealing with the Crean situation.
  10. Not so fast my friend! I know Carmel has gotten better since their first meeting, as has Lawrence North. The Game was a “Game”. But my intuition says North will have a plan for Carmel this time, maybe it will work. But Carmel is a machine! Your picks?
  11. Ok same location then. Nice
  12. Mike Woodson on this list? He really has an inside to the high school coaches.
  13. AAA- different story. It’s the south again. Silver Creek is right up there with the 4A teams in talent. Although in Fart Wayne all of the athletes are fleeing inner city ,to the $$$$(burbs), Leo, Carroll, Homestead, and parochial schools. The Creek will show the Grable ,plow boys ,southern B-ball.
  14. They’ve Been there many times . Although not the full finals fanfare experience, I’m going with the south. A- Barr-Reeve
  15. Are the Hawks still located in the middle of R. Nelson’s, territory? Close to Arlington Park.
  16. Brad has said no thanks a few times, but is flattered by the consideration. The list has to be short, indiana does not have much time here. Younger Dl major conference coaches will be the main focus. But not the only consideration.
  17. Hope to see a little “reigon “ in th last game!
  18. Thanks muda. I’m sure the program wants to have a presence in the big dance. $$$ talks. This guy is doing more than he is getting paid. higher profile coach, pony up ISU. No guarantee
  19. Honestly, I don’t think it was a gamble. Fred glass did his home work. Midwest success. 4 years in row making ncaa. 1 year reaching elite 8. Young. Good Basketball family.
  20. Man, what happened to the number 1 rated team in 4a. Carmel killed them. the schools down south though Fort Wayne had the team this year. Instead of the southern schools.
