  1. Check out the ages of 36-year-old head coach Ryan Walters’ maiden staff: OLB Joe Dineen 26 DB Grant O’Brien 32 CB Sam Carter 32 TE Seth Doege 34 OC Graham Harrell 37 DC Kevin Kane 38 OL Matt Mattox 40 WR Cory Patterson 42 RB Lamar Conard 45 DL Brick Haley 56 That comes to an average age of 38.2
  2. I think many of them do, I believe either with opportunities to just bring your team to their campus on your own or with others. I believe maybe, Trine, IU used to, not sure if they still do, Indiana St I believe, but we have been St Joe to Manchester all these years, very happy with it and haven't explored other options
  3. grown men playing that game, loved the pre gamer Michigan, has turned the corner, last 2 years, it seems, feel like they are missing a couple more dynamic playmakers to put them in that tier 1 as I mentioned previously. Cycles happen, see Clemson, OLK, USC, ND, but Bama, Georgia (under Smart) and OSU, seems to have remained above the rest with unbelievable talent and playmakers
  4. Whoops, I was chatting with one of my buddies, PATS fan, made it sound like he could be signed by PATS, assumed he had a opt out on his contract, but correct, 2 years left, hefty price Love the move for the Bears
  5. 1. I know I am no NFL personnel guy, but if I am Houston, how do you give up any capital to move up PACE style 1 pick? I do not see that big of difference between Stroud and Young: However, I would be worried about 6'0 qbs, but thats just me. 2. Logical, Panthers/Colts. 3. No Costner, Draft Day scenarios will unfold, they will hopefully make 1 real good trade, stay in top tier of picks and get more picks in process Try to sign Hopkins or trade for Adams with FA capital Also, Love Smith: BEAR 4 LIFE but I wil die on the hill that Bears franchise set back 15 years when they fired him after 10-6 season , man his teams played hard for him
  6. Coach Jensen has resigned announced yesterday I believe, however, Miss Alexis who is the gal in charge of operations has confirmed CAMPS ARE CONTINUING: She sent us the following message this morning: (he will be taking over as DC at St. Francis in Ft. Wayne) Camps will be planned for the summer: Week 1: June 12th thru June 15th Week 2: June 19th thru June 22nd Manchester will be sending out camp registration forms very soon, We are very excited to continue with our annual summer football camps.
  7. I like former players turning head coach, like how Dan Campbell worked when I watched Hard Knocks, also like guys like Mike Vrbel. their teams play very hard, toughness.
  8. because Mayor is trying to get re-elected
  9. doesn't mean that in 1 game series, those teams could have an off night and lose, but if anyone thought that last nights game was going to be competitive was clearly just biased against another SEC team winning national championship
  10. I would assume the Bombers will be in attendance on first week
  11. Michigan City has opened
  12. Who hires 1st, Michigan City or Portage
  13. There are 3 programs and then everyone else, doesn't matter if you expand to 12 teams, its Georgia, Bama, OSU..............then next tier, the gap from top tier to next is unbelievably large
  14. Define big?? according the link below he is 27k, my guess with him and Sullivan, about moving on with their degrees from Purdue and looking for more exposure for the 2024 NFL draft. not sure if this link is behind paywall or not https://www.on3.com/db/lawrence-johnson-142303/nil/ ranked 4,379 in total NIL so........
  15. I'd pump the brakes on Bryce Young and future NFL success, but that is just me and my concern for 6'0 quarterbacks
  16. yes
  17. PERFECT SEASON Well Done FLUS
  18. Lawerence Johnson going to Auburn 2 DL landing upward
  19. Jack Sullivan Boilermaker to Trojan, that is USC Trojan he played so well this year
  20. no doubt, just a tough situation all the way around in the current landscape, you just pick the pieces up and get back at it with new crew and get to work
  21. Im a Brian Nuebert guy and Goldandblack.com. they moved from rivals to on3 in November I think, he can sign up for only $1 for a year, get more true idiots at that price point vs the $100 they were on Rivals, but Nuebert has been on the Purdue beat for so long, he doesn't pull any punches. he does a live thread chat and didn't pull some punches about their publications relationship with Brohm, Corp, basically Greg who was Jeff's attack dog, he also said Brian was 100% on the outside of Jeff's shadow and always did his own thing it seems.
  22. I think they see 4 star out of HS going to UT and moving on not because of lack of skills, but more so UT recruited 2 bona fide (more than likely) 1st round draft picks behind him. I think that is where the excitement comes from. Also, a few days now post Bowl game, some of the stories coming out of West LA on Brohm Corp are now becoming more out there, things I had heard already but now being spoken on by local media. Interesting to say the least. Not going to bad mouth Jeff Brohm, but seems like many folks were ready for the new era to begin
  23. I would imagine that dude from Jackson St WR who follow PRIME to Colorado would of been top ranked https://www.on3.com/db/kiyaunta-goodwin-75413/ This just came across my timeline if you will: would love to see Purdue give him a shot
  24. I never saw full "rankings". however I did see bunch of headlines of being top position type available early in the process Would imagine he was somewhere in the top 10 for QBs and Top 40 available or so
