  1. Tell that to Will Compton on X
  2. Why did ND not make him a priority ?
  3. Just asking if I did it correctly that is all Why be so selective ? You're either the all in or all out guy on forum spelling? What make you determine what and who to correct in this realm vs others? That's why I asked if I corrected 23 correctly to your standards because I noticed after random 2 weeks, and after you had already responded (hidden) you decided to make a post correcting the spelling of Kirschner ...... But didn't on the initial response..... but then 2 weeks later, just found it interesting, so when I saw an opportunity for one of our members to be corrected as it's not Twitter no more, but X, I was seeking your approval If I did that correctly. I am not "butthurt:" which for me personally is such a garbage phrase, but I also do not use R word in my life either amongst other words but hey I digress ........... Hope that unconfused you sir SO, @23andCounting I apologize if I missed it, however, do you have a spot in your mind where you think ND should be placed when all said and done?
  4. Curous, what is the Truths of the conversation you refer to? Article or you opin about tax payer boondoggle ?
  5. But, hey, got Houston to call a TO when they panicked keeping the PUNT team on the field, I thought was very clever !!!! 1st Round picks hit at like 20% rate..... so I would not be so upset about 2 for SAUCE, if he can be healthy and productive but not sure he has that DOG in him now that the JETS culture got him..... can COLTS reverse that?? Agree with Owners's assessment, you go with both or you go with firing both... my guess... she likes HC, she has questions about GM, but doesn't want to can GM and keep coach bc next GM will want his guy.... and cycle gets put behind
  6. SHOCKED..... Time to be an obscure LB coach for a few more years
  7. Hey, the fella in the this thread asked questions, so I asked him where he thought they should be........ You see, I quoted @23andCounting and asked where you think they should fall, it was in same post where I corrected the term "twitter" for the term "X" because that is the appropriate way to talk about that social media platform, since you find the need to correct all things that are misspelled, grammar , etc, I wanted your approval if I did it correctly, then posed the question about ND Then you go: "WHO". I Said "ND" as in the theme of the questions posted by 23....... Then you go, It doesn't matter as you said you already stated your stance, but in reality, I was still asking 23 Hope that clears up the "confusing" SO 23..... where would you think your team should be appropriately placed in a poll that means nothing in a few weeks??
  8. "X". am I doing that right @gonzoron Where do you think they should fall in AP? #2? Top 10? #13?
  9. Concur on your assessment and presentation HOWEVER Sub out Conference, for Corporation 😀 I think we are still not done with the reshaping of what we have known to love as collegiate athletics. I expect a full breakaway from NCAA by the Big 4 Corporations within the next 5-10 years, if not sooner, depending on Feds and what they do on the settlement.
  10. right on, just didn't know, just know how many people it sits, its large.... Definitely understand, been there before..... JOHN FOX ....... PACE........
  11. also: wake me up in August..... that is when I will care who went where and this and that....... At least there isn't another window after spring ball..........
  12. Does Lucas Oil actually sell out each Sunday? Waiting list for tickets? The Colts tried to go all-in but failed miserably. It's hard to know if anyone's to blame or if it's just unfortunate, but as Jonathan Taylor said a week ago, "Good teams don't lose six in a row." For as many years as Ballard has been at the helm in roster construction, would you guys agree at some point, the goal is to create a roster good enough to withstand the injuries? That is my goal for my GM now next 1-3 years, tore it down, vertically aligned front office, attacked Offense at all 3 phases in last 2.5 years. Now, job is to do that with D side of ball, and continue to build depth of roster with talent. That imo is the role of GM after first 3-4 years, because most times, there is a reason a new GM is hired right, so its not like expectation should be to see the roster flipped perfectly in 4 months. Agree as well: JT production correlated with QB who is a danger vs QB that NFL DCs do not have to worry as a danger. DJ in Colts scheme 1st 8 games was a dangerous position, breaks leg, then became very much not as dangerous, zero legs to worry about to extend plays, zip on ball, transfer of weight, then because of that injury, my guess is the Achilles stressed much more because naturally babying the other side of his body. Then you choose to bring in Rivers, I get it, and understand HC stance, HEY, if I am worried about getting fired at the end of the year, who am I going to go to, some Rookie 6th rounder who was 3rd most of the year on Depth Chart or see if you pull a miracle with Rivers, I would of chose Rivers too if I thought my job counted on it, and perhaps, that was a positive for new Irsay Ownership group. I do think it was smart to do one of 2 things: KEEP both or FIRE BOTH. too many mistakes made in NFL front offices of keeping one and not the other especially keeping Coach, but firing GM.... yikes
  13. And many other aspects... but to sit there and just pretend that you can win in court cases, then lose and then decide to just think this means that athletes are gonna get some bucks sitting at the local Walmart signing autographs or going on local tv ad was just plain ignorant, but that is what they did, they did not do enough diligence to keep the agents out of the classrooms........ and now you are scared to death litigate anymore since your went broke already doing that and losing, so now you sit and beg for Fed Govt to bail you out as an entity ....... lack of leadership in crucial moments years ago led to the last 18 months ish do not need 3 weeks off from last game in REG season to tounament/bowl series games, concur
  14. Same Genre: Equipment: Perhaps our officials out here like @Bobref and @JustRules can help. In the NFL/College game, is it still required to physically attach a mouth guard to helmets? Its clear that this is not a forcible infractions of the NCAA/NFL, so is there a way to just say, they are in or not in, but no more fashion statements on these thing?? While I am at and we are discussing this equipment and protections: Good time to remind folks that the Knee injuries that have been occurring in the NCAA and NFL to players have had ZERO to do with a "pad" not being worn the size of a coaster for your Pepsi's ....... Be nice to see that get out of the Officials things they are constantly complained to by their suits to fix at the HS level Seems like the state of Texas has survived last few years not regulating the length of the ones football pant
  15. BINGO AP voters who don't pay attention collectively as is, will look to see ND didn't choose to play a game, so those who did will naturally get a bump if they won, in the minds of an AP voter...... just my guess
  16. and supposedly protects HS players ..... don't see it 4500 in portal over 35% of College Football Sad but when NCAA let their pride and hubris and lack of leadership dictate the last 7 years this is what you get
  17. Matchups my friend all about the matchups each week. Bears Secondary cannot cover Man to Man well on the Dig/IN and the Crossers and Backs out of Backfield, things that DETROIT does EXCEPTIONALLY well. And they played a bunch of MAN because some weeks our 4 man DL rush cannot get there, so DC Allen has to dial up bliztes to get home, (how many negative plays all 17 weeks did we see from Nickel Blitz from Kyler/ Brisker/ CJ Johnson ? Problem doing that with a VET like GOFF and absolute WR MAN EATERS of St. Brown and Jamo Williams and Gibbs, can you can't get home, they will pick you apart. Then the field shrunk and saw Bears D hold and keep to FGs. But understand the sentiment: Just know the Packers O is not the LIONS O, by scheme and personnel
  18. Does final Ranking in any Poll matter to anyone who is a fan of football or basketball for the Professional collegiate level? I know for my team that I love and follow, their final AP/Coaches Ranking in March means nothing to me personally in my fandom So for this discussion, does final ND ranking if there is one, (which I think their used be, but that was BCS days) change anything for you ND fans? Like more Pride? More Anger? Patches for letter Jacket that @Bobref still has 🙂
  19. sold Lions game: Heading to Wisconsin Saturday to check out my Boilers on the road, just became to much...... Do we sell the Playoff game......... seats in our sections are listed fro $1100 EACH , that pays for 94% of total season ticket for my seat..... however we've made back and then some already...Im sure the tax bill will be outrageous AGAIN. smh https://seatgeek.com/chicago-bears-tickets/1-10-2026-chicago-illinois-soldier-field/nfl/17870634?quantity=3&selected=s%3A436+r%3A4 I am section 436 Row 18, 1st 3 seats on aisle........
