  1. I mean they were 8 man then now 11 man in year 3, so time will tell Big noise up my way is the impact Illiana Christian will have on : Hanover Central, Lowell, Lake Central, CP, Munster on the Public Side and Andrean, Mt Carmel, St. Rita as well on the Parochial side
  2. We have lost over 100 plus kids since our 2014 state year: We are closer to 1a then 3a these days. Once you take out Transient/hispanic population, IEP students, we probably have a pool of about 330 or so students for athletics, obviously not all are boys and not all play sports, so you go from school of 530+ and roster of 50ish to school availability of under 350. Our 8th grade girls could only find 3 to play hoops, our Sophomore class came over with 84 TOTAL bodies, of which under 40 were Boys, and freshman year we had 6 play, now down to 3 this year. Factors: Division 2 college St. Joe has now been closed almost 10 years, more families choosing full on FFA lives, or just flat out leaving public school to go online so they don't have to take state accountability tests and they can have theirs in the farms. Just a couple of examples here in our school.
  3. Mitchell added to IFCA Nothing out for Silver Creek yet
  4. Perhaps, the trust of a coach in the building will help improve amount of players he will have to get out and provide a face and personality the school community already knows and if he has had some success in baseball then why not football? Many times, imo, folks forget that we are also in the relationship business, building those relationships the right way takes time and perhaps that is the WHY on this hire.
  5. Could you imagine NFL front offices and coaches all up in the business of college if they had that....they are so protective of their assets, they will be going nuts if colleges are mis using in their view their asset
  6. yes, they are on demand for many months after purchase whoops should of read down 🙂
  7. no issues. Good for OHIO to not be thick headed in this scenario Go Bombers
  8. also: Haven't watched Jags at all. Jack Kiser? See he only had stats for 3 games so far, has been healthy scratches ? Injured?
  9. I was thinking BEARS in round 1 for LOVE however, drafting 14-32 area, (yeah I said it) , don't think he will be there and we really need to continue to beef up DL/LB/S/DE/OL. Love him though, really good running back Question for the Domers ( said with love) does #34 come out this year?

  16. So you want to do what Basketball does and redraws the tournament after sectionals to determine different regional ? I find that to be silly personally
  17. as always @crimsonace1 is all over it !! Much Appreciated
  18. Whoopsie: Yup, always get the points messed up as Regional qualifier is only 1 pt, Regional winner is 2 points IHSAA Rule 2-5, the Tournament Success Factor, promotes competitive balance by moving successful teams to a higher enrollment class for a specific sport. Teams earn points for reaching later stages in the tournament: 1 for a sectional championship, 2 for a regional, 3 for a semi-state, and 4 for a state championship. A team that scores six or more points over a two-year period is moved up to the next largest enrollment class for that sport. How the rule works Point system: Schools earn points for success in the tournament series for specific sports like football, baseball, softball, and basketball. Sectional championship: 1 point Regional championship: 2 points Semi-state championship: 3 points State championship: 4 points Reclassification: If a school achieves a total of six or more points in a specific sport over a two-year period, it is moved up to the next higher enrollment class for that sport for the following two years. If a school is already in a higher class, it will move up to the next largest class if it earns six or more points over two years. Annual review (effective 2024-25): Beginning with the 2024-25 school year, a school's performance and points accumulated in a two-year span will be reviewed annually. Staying in class: A school that is playing in a higher class will drop down one class if it accumulates three or fewer points over the two-year span. Schools scoring four or more points will remain in that higher class. Purpose: The rule was created to improve competitive balance and slow the dominance of certain programs by reclassifying teams based on their tournament success, not just their enrollment numbers.
  19. 3a because of Enrollment not because of SF Schools Competing in a Larger Enrollment Classification due to Rule 2-5 # Decatur Central plays in Class 6A for 2025-26, 2026-27 due to Rule 2-5 # Heritage Hills plays in Class 4A for 2025-26, 2026-27 due to Rule 2-5 n Indianapolis Bishop Chatard plays in Class 4A for 2024-25, 2025-26 due to Rule 2-5 $ Indianapolis Cathedral plays in Class 5A for 2025-26 and 2026-27 due to Rule 2-5. n Lafayette Central Catholic plays in Class 2A for 2024-25 and 2025-26 due to Rule 2 Correct 3a due to enrollment not SF from previous cycle : ie: LUERS
  20. Don't you stay in your elevated class if you earn 4 points in the SF class up? So if East Central 4 points by back to back 5a sectionals wouldn't they stay in 5a? https://www.ihsaa.org/sites/default/files/documents/Football TSF 2024-25.pdf All right here
