What's a homefield advantage worth?
Coach Nowlin replied to hhpatriot04's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
They were incredibly talented team the 2 years we faced them !!! The giant boys we had up front...if only it was turf so we could lean on all those athletes for 3 to 4 yards a carry.... and play keep away !!!! 😂 -
Concur Bob, Wiederer of the Trib wrote an article that Poles tried Dec tried to move in front of PATS in round 2 for Henderson, then was going to take Sac from ASU, but was snipped 4 picks before, so stayed to the plan and didn't panic. Dexter is going to be interesting because he has leaned out a lot, almost to play outside for Denis Allen vs inside at previous weight

You were not in Ft Wayne Nov 20th 2010 clearly !!! 😎 -
My guess is from most of the noise I have seen, thier HC is not so well thought of at Maryland To @Irishman point, how many were drafted and played all 3/-5 years at Maryland? I think Bears LB Hippottle did. I mean Purdue should get half a point for Nic Scrouten (played for Brohm under Nic Caraway). Appreciate Cam Ward here. Love it

Felt like POLES showed some poise and experience not freaking out when he had like 4 Running Backs sniped from him on Friday and Saturday, still got what looks to be a very productive RB in round 7. I DO NOT want to bring in NICK CHUBB, no thanks. Saturday with Trade downs, HUGE to snag 4th in 2026 that was used to trade Chiefs for Joe Tuney. Saturday picks looked to be value for measurable picks. Maryland LB who RUNS and is productive tackler, nice depth piece and hopefully Special Team 4 way player there, another OL who most likely bumps down inside and freak athlete at DB from UTSA who is tall and Fast. Got another swing tackle from BC on Friday that will hold immediate competition in that room. So much talent onboard, I mean you get 2 5 star dogs in round 2, Burden and Turner NOW TIME TO COACH EM UP and not accept medocrity

Who Ranks the Rankers? Like what I posted in Bears thread, Cam Ward 0 star recruit to #1 pick overall. 5 star kid undrafted...... Mel Kiper has become again, a charachter of himself. Someone who has dedicatd his life to this, why hasn't he ever been considered for an NFL GM job?? I mean he has all the answers. I was hoping for New Pals Maxen Hook to get the Nod to Bears, then was really hoping he signed UFA deal with them, but Philly snagged him, I think he can stick in the NFL Kiser going 4th round and folks in Indiana still big mad about him winning Mr. Football, I understand David Bell and he was drafted in 3rd round as well, he was cut last year, then resigned to practice squad then IR week 2.

I am not personally. You already have a fragile minded AR QB as is, don't think it would help bringing in the circus there with Sanders. AR is 23 year old pup still and Colts used a very large capital in drafting him 4th, way way too soon to waive white flag at that position, Daniel Jones is 28, many times it takes that long to get it, and change of scenary helps, see Sam Darnold this past year, Geno Smith previously and others as well over the last 2 decades. QB position is so poorly managed from MANY MANY NFL front offices and that hends up hurting young talents, so Colts should not fall in that same trap. That is a very hard pass for me. Sanders goes to Cleveland I think to open the 2nd round, if they pass again on him I could also see Pete Carroll and Raiders not passing on that talent and let him sit behind Geno for a year or 2, take time, with him which is what MANY of them need coming out. QB need teams: Browns, Steelers, Saints (Derek Carr injury very much a big ??? )

And Kmet out of contract with a Opt out after 2025 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/47638/cole-kmet

when he met with POLES and talked about his strong hands and all that, Loveland said, "Have you ever had to pull Wire Fence in Idaho?" There you go.....

Lying season for these clowns are full force on lead up: All about throwing nonsense against the wall to create buzz and engagements and then if they are right to do victory laps but not hearing a peep when they fall flat..... The classic line is : "who ranks the rankers" FOR INSTANCE: Cam Ward..... 0 star recruit to #1 pick in draft.

Had the Cardinals on a DT, just used the wrong one. Nolen flew up the clubs boards more than I expected. Great pick by Cheifs, without Injury Simmons is top 10 pick IMO Cowboys going IOL 12th overall was a shock to me personally. I had Dart as 2nd QB taken, appreciate Giants move at end of the 1st to snag him. Packers picking WR was fun for crowd, my sick mind wanted them trade out to send the fans home sad.

NICE WORK @TrenchWarfare58 OVer 50% and nailed first 7 !! Half credit on nailed TE's posistion for Bears and Colts, right church wrong pew there. We both would not know that Will Johnson medicals on a knee caused him to drop. So it goes. Thanks for participating

Bears did something that previously regimes failed to do last night, Identify a premier scheme fit to grow the offense. (unlike Pace who was hood winked by measurables of a guy like KEVIN WHITE for instance) There had been many conversations about Ben Johnson and running the ball and what "12" personell would look like. This was why Loveland was taken over Warren as Warren is more Kmet, where Loveland is more stretchy if that makes sense. LOVE THE IDAHO TOUGH, that will play well in Chicago. VERY HAPPY if they couldn't get BANKS who I still think was ahead of Loveland on Poles board but Saints made a surprise and smart move getting the big OL there. One thing that has been seen again, the NFL front offices understand how much the need to continue build OL/DL, HAVE TOO. If Mike Tomnlin who is most equipped to deal with PRIME for those teams who need QB passes in the 1st round that says A LOT. Bears have #7 and #9 of this round tonight. SO MANY very productive and talented players available !!! My wish list: Safety from South Carolina if there: Emmanurori and Treyvon Henderson RB OSU, Edge Rusher question is how much do they believe in BOOKER? If he stayed at Kansasa he may have been a 1st/2nd round guy according to noise last year. Some talented guys but Marshall's Green has some baggage so Im good with passing there but BC DE Ezeiruaku was a menace off the edge for the Eagles last year. Be Happy with Best TACKLE on Board, perhaps ERSEY out of Minnesota? If Bears snag Henderson at #39, and want this tackle they maybe able to trade down and gain more capital to make that happen. They are in a great great spot tonight, in my opinion I think I am more excited to see tonight unfold then last night personally

This fella is very well thought of in the talking head pundit world....... accuracy wise anyways, I want the record to be shown that this article came out this morning !! He too like the idea of Bears and Colts trade. Just instead for TEMPS boy Loveland vs Warren who he has going 7, but the Bears get Banks at 14 and another 3rd rounder in this mock, ME LIKEY https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2025/story/_/id/44790164/2025-nfl-mock-draft-peter-schrager-first-round-predictions-32-picks-trades-buzz-qbs-sanders-ward-dart
