  1. yeah, that was #1 on the list it seems from Warren and crew, I believe it is just enclosed is the plan, no ability to open but they also could change it again too
  2. Life of a GIrl Dad
  3. For me, it adds about 40 mins or so farther trip.. I have zero qualms adding that to the commute, the guy I have tickets with lives in Fort Wayne, so many times if we go all together he comes to my place night before and go from there, but we are both very limited these days, with my football schedule, his very successful career and 2 HS kids himself at Homestead, it can be a chore. Don't get me started on the $1200 tax bill we had to pay for our money we made on selling this past year....... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I would go in a heartbeat, she is fun !!
  4. same, been to a few concerts there and for Bon Jovi, was in 400 level... no thanks, Floor seats (like 10th row) for Jay Z and Beyounce, that did not suck.... and club for Elton John, OUTSTANDING BTW, but I digress....... Perhaps, sleepy Jerry looks to take Whitesox there........
  5. Im a gamlber....and my money is 100% on Arlington Heights I was just listening to Kevin Warren and George McCaskey talk 2 days ago from the Owners Meeting and I am now even MORE convinced that is the what the Family wants to do. 1. The family has never owned their own facility, they want to 2. They want to make it like JERRY WORLD but for Chicago, Warren has been constantly talking about what it would mean to own their own: Bidding for Super Bowls, WWE, FINAL 4s, UFC, BOXING 3. Arlington Heights pushed through some Tax Codes in December 4. Arlington Heights just elected a new Mayor, according to Warren, he hasn't met with him yet, however sounds like they have had some real good talks previously with the schools and are close to a Memoradium of Understanding 5. IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE to get out of the lakefront to own their own When George McCaskey finally started to listen to Kevin Warren, you see what happened, Fired a coach mid year, broke the bank (Bears terms) for the best candidate on market and have truly wants to have world class brand for next 100 years (Warren's and McCaskey's words) Get out of the City of Chicagoas their is no room, as it stands, and leadership within the city does not deserve the Bears downtown imo.
  6. What is a Boilermaker? Just ask Jimmy Fallon
  7. Wanna wager (friendly) he will eventually flip to LSU or Texas before signing day? IMO, these early committments these days are just to leverage for a better offer (as in MONEY) for the local school, I opin that the move to OSU verbal is to leverage LSU to not come short on the package expecting him to take the home town discount. Just my theory
  8. Sorry Packers.....Tush Push tabled for later discussions...... Also, Digital 1st down markers, electronically executed in 2025 Thanks UFL
  9. See how this will shakeout with the federal court settlement that goes into effect this summer: Here's a more detailed breakdown: Back Pay: The settlement includes approximately $2.78 billion in back pay for former Division I student-athletes who played between June 15, 2016, and September 15, 2024, due to the statute of limitations on antitrust claims. Revenue Sharing: Schools can now share up to 22% of their average athletic revenue (from media rights, tickets, and sponsorships) with student-athletes, starting in the 2025-26 academic year. Power Five Conferences: The settlement primarily affects the Power Five conferences (Atlantic Coast, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and Southeastern), but other Division I schools can choose to participate. NIL Opportunities: The settlement allows schools to enter into name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals directly with student-athletes, something previously prohibited by the NCAA. Roster Limits: The settlement eliminates scholarship limits in favor of roster limits, allowing schools to determine how many players they can have on their roster. Estimated Payouts: The settlement anticipates that student-athletes could receive $1.5 billion to $2 billion in new benefits annually. Claim Period: Former and current student-athletes who began competing in 2016 through Sept. 15, 2024, are eligible to submit claims for backpay. Settlement Cases: The settlement resolves the House v. NCAA, Carter v. NCAA, and Hubbard v. NCAAcases. Law Firm Fees: Berman and Kessler's law firms requested nearly $500 million in fees and expenses, plus roughly 1% of the money schools pay players during the next 10 years.
  10. Been fun to see Hard Knocks off season with them this year instead of last year... But that was ruined and now they cannot find a team to allow cameras in, HBO then tried to pivot to UNC and that fell thru
  11. A lot of bad information out there Be careful what you think is how this works vs how it really will work
  12. Much Love to Coach Leeper and his family !! 🙏
  13. and if meant for jovial notion, what a waste of time, but hey Illinois....amirte The new last week on a new developer and their plans for the lot south of McCormick center was just done on their own and without any direction from Bears Brass. More Smoke screens
  14. Congratulations to all that have been selected Go NORTH Beat SOUTH Go Region 4 https://ifca.net/north-south-all-star-game/ Double Special shoutout to my Cousins kid RYAN GRAY of Chesterton on his selection !!!

  15. Interesting. Favorable Braxton Jones article https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2025/3/16/24386205/chicago-bears-braxton-jones-is-underappreciated-ryan-poles-hidden-1st-round-pick-2025-nfl-draft Warren at TE is a fun Weapon RB is still luxury at 10 for Jeanty in my eyes. Nice sneaky pick up WR Bears signed a few days ago. Be real nice if premium DL falls to 10. If not. Let's trade back and pile up

  17. right on !! I still think AR has an opportunity, but man, its a very hard position to play at this level and patience for fans and organizations are not for everyone it seems, I think the issue was not having a strong conviction to just have a better choice than Minshew in 2023, so many teams just screw this process up and the player gets the short end of the stick becuse of lack of organizational directions (Bears included until this year)
  18. About this Scenario: You have 2 2nd rounders.......TRADE UP for Carter !!! oooooh boy, that would be dandy, I think he goes 4th to Vrabel who is loading up defensively right now
  19. I would be SHOCKED if Daniel Jones can beat out AR, but I understand the idea behind the signing, some of the early noise I read was it was an automatic starter, hardly the case imo. Those 3 QBs are not allowed, sorry to tell ya, but you already know that, you could of had MITCH, he still slinging it. Must of struck a nerve if you felt the need to try to somehow get even dig on the Bears QB situation over the years, however, you used 3 poor choices on your attempt. Mitch was your guy, you missed on that one. Gotta Aim better my friend !! 🙂 Cutler very successful stats and playoffs, Orton has a adequate years for a 4th rounder, EPIC Neck Beard !! Rex super bowl starting QB.....
  20. WOW, Colts Nation already bailing on a Top 10 pick going into year 3? YIKES If you think Daniel Jones is the answer of AR, DOUBLE YIKES....... He was drafted 4th overall, is 22 years old, takes time to develop at this level and AT THAT POSITION, I understand some of the immaturity last year, but to think Daniel Jones should be the starter of AR then Ballard needs to resign right away because that would be an ALL TIME blunder. My guess is DJ is a good addition from Colts Brass to push AR and to help his development plus AR history already of some injury concerns early in his career @Bash Riprock Music to my ears
  21. I would agree, if you sit in zone and the other team decides to do stall ball, then that is a counter and the zone D needs to adjust or be ok with the choice Whats next, stopping play every time a close shot clock violation? can't go to the monitor.......
  22. AI reason below AI Overview Learn more Mason Graham is currently rated higher than Kenneth Grant in the 2025 NFL Draft primarily due to his higher projected draft position, more complete skillset, and perceived higher ceiling as a pass rusher. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Draft Projections: Graham is widely projected to be a first-round pick, potentially even in the top 10, while Grant is generally projected in the 20-40 overall range. Skillset: While both are strong defensive tackles, Graham is viewed as more of a "complete" player, excelling in both run defense and pass rushing. Grant is known for his strength and run-stopping ability, but Graham is perceived as having more pass-rushing upside. Impact and Performance: Graham has a more established track record of high performance and impact, including being a two-time All-American and a unanimous first-team All-American in 2024. Grant, while impactful, has been in a rotational role at Michigan, while Graham has been a consistent starter. Scouting Reports: NFL draft analysts have praised Graham's "elite run-stuffing ability and disruptive pass-rush skills," as well as his "active hands" and "understanding of how to win with leverage". Grant is described as a "big old wall on the line of scrimmage" with "surprising burst for a player his size". Wrestling Background: Graham's wrestling background is seen as a significant asset, providing him with exceptional hand-fighting and leverage skills. Positional Potential: While both have similar NFL positional potential, Grant is viewed as more of an "immovable object" style player, while Graham is seen as more adept at torquing off blockers.
  23. As it relates to IHSAA basketball tournament, not just in general is my understanding by Mr. Harrell
  24. Mason Graham at 10 could be someone I could get behind, very disruptive DT Kenneth Grant at 10 would not be, but if they decide after this FA frenzy that they still want to go with DT (I don't after signings today of DT from ATL ) then do so later in Round 1. I think if somehow Graham is there at 10, it would make sense, but how does the Coaches feel about Booker? I mean, he was taken in 5th in 24 as a very raw, talented active YOUNG player, who if stayed in Kansas this year could be graded out 1st/2nd round from chatter last year, so if Coaches feel like that is where Austin Booker is trending then makes no sense to draft Graham in my opinion. I think both him and Carter at both gone in picks 1-9 personally. Thought Graham and Booker different positions could show what the Bears are thinking overall Left Tackle: Are you sure Braxton Jones on Rookie contract is your best choice at LT ? If so then wouldn't be surprised if Jeanty is the pick, if your still iffy on him, then you are taking Best LT on board at Ten: Campbell, Banks, Simmons?
