  1. I wouldn't mind seeing Pitt in the league. But UNC is the Holy Grail and to a certain extent Texas.
  2. Guess what: everything is cyclical (how many times have I said this?!?), the Athenians, Bison, Bulldogs, Mustangs, Rebels, and everybody else having trouble right now will be back!!!
  3. Is Kiel still killing it? Although they're a very small school (1A or 2A if they were a few hundred miles southeast), they really updated their facilities and were undefeated. A friend of mine is on their school board and was a driving force on the upgrades, not an easy thing to do in a small town which is about the size of Rensselaer....
  4. Who would have thought? Then again the Bears are experiencing their predictable collapse, Dallas is nothing special, but the Panthers and Saints could make things interesting, a long way to go...
  5. The whole Orange Beach/Mobile area is great. Good luck with the move.
  6. Gulf shores I hope. I have family in Huntsville which is really not an ideal vacation spot other than the space center. 5-1 is shocking to me as well, and now the gullible optimist in me thinks we can run the table. Then again, we need more WR production.
  7. As I think about it, not all of Illinois is miserable. I really enjoy the western part of the state (Galena and the Quad Cities), northern Lake County, and points south such as Carbondale and Effingham.
  8. I’m in Lowell, which isn’t that far away from you. They also enjoy a great football tradition. I’ll probably be a lifer here, too.
  9. Actually, I kind of like this idea... Sure, a few points were raised that I would be remiss if I didn’t call bs on...
  10. Kokomo may be a bit too far, remaining with Logansport, Marion, Anderson, Muncie, and Richmond could be in their best interest.
  11. Having the Lafayette schools in a conference with Bloomington, Columbus could work. The travel might even ease up a bit as Anderson, Muncie, and Richmond aren’t exactly next door... I went to mapquest: Lafayette to both Bloomington and Columbus is a little over 100 miles. Muncie is also a little over the century mark, while Richmond is 135. I kind of like this idea...
  12. Jeff--Merrillville should be an interesting one as I don't know what to think of the Pirates either...
  13. Not too happy bit this particular thread. Winning games can be tough given injuries, the general youth of the team, among other factors. But these kids are out there fighting, let's not make fun of their efforts.
  14. That seemed to be the case last night....
  15. I like how this Sectional matches up and glad to hear hardly anybody was clamoring for more of that seeded crap....
  16. Let's give a big shout out to Jack Plummer and David Bell--offensive player and freshman of the week I'm the B1G. Not too disappointing...
  17. NW SN will emerge victorious in the first Contraction Bowl NN Fremont
  18. I took a look at the remaining schedule, a good chance we can run the table.
  19. I will definitely take the win, that’s for sure, but we need to work on dumb penalties.
