Chatard hasn’t been in the south semi state for the past 2 years…. that’s how HH got past semi state 2 years ago…😂. Just kidding. But I think if you ask these seniors..they didn’t want the “stars to align”. They wanted to play Memorial and Chatard in the postseason. GS has beaten Memorial a few times on their way to sectional titles. And this senior group beat Memorial 22-0 at Memorial as freshmen (without Brady). They wanted a shot to be the first to get past Chatard. But they’ll just have to compete with who’s ever in front of them now. Either way… it’s going to be a fun ride the next couple of months.

Wow! That’s not going to bode well for the Raiders in 2 weeks. Could be lots of fireworks! 😉

Henderson County is now open. Maybe we can get a waiver from the state of Kentucky. If they allow Mount Vernon can play Owensboro Catholic, Then GS should be allowed to play HC.

Eastside is now open this Friday. We could possibly meet in the middle and play at Brownsburg High on Saturday. It would be a 2-1/2 hour drive for both teams. Just a thought!

Jewell was a legend. My dad was on his first team at Fort Branch in ‘68 and I was a freshman on his last team in ‘86. I believe we were the only father / son to be a part of Coach’s programs.

So 1,980,000 times 6% is 118,800 people dying from Covid alone. That’s if every breathing person in the US contracted the disease.
