  1. Where are the Southridge folks at? This should be a slobberknocker of a game.
  2. For what it is worth, that isn't too far off Calpreps predictor. A 2 score game makes sense. May be a barn burner--these SR/HH games can get pretty spicy. neutral field [2023] Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) 35 (87%), [2023] Southridge (Huntingburg, IN) 17 (13%)
  3. week one, not won.....I guess I had win on my mind....
  4. Our oldest and most competitive rival--historically speaking. Round 2 rematch! 5. You know, maybe @Titan32 is sad. Lots of us are sad about this very thing. We, HH, GS, SR, etc get generational players like Brady Allen, we had Jay Culter, etc and it takes that guy to lead a team to state only to get steamrolled by Chatard. For us it is a special player every 10 or 20 years, for Chatard it is yearly. Titan32 (who I really do like, sometimes he thinks I am stabbing at him, I'm not, I'd love to sit down and break bread with him some time) is secretly happy that Chatard was in 4A the year they won state. He won't admit that and frankly, I don't blame him....he will probably make the statement, "I wish Chatard would have been in 3A that year so we could beat the best", which is the same thing I would say and we would both be fibbing. Heritage Hills is 1-8 against Chatard and the year we beat them, we didn't win state that year. I will be honest here...we have generational talent on this team at the underclassmen level. We are a decent team now and next year should be great and should only get better over the next couple years--I am glad that Chatard won't be there next year or the year after with their yearly team to just win another state title in 3A. If T32 is honest he feels the same way because we are both likely going to have to beat each other to get there over the next couple years and we want a decent game.
  6. You are making the assumption that all those kids have to pay all that tuition, which is likely wrong (at least for some). I have a friend whose daughter was sought after by a private high school over around Louisville (volleyball), not only would she NOT have to pay the tuition, he could have been set up with a great job. They decided to stay at our po dunk "high school in the cornfield" and she had to settle for playing college volleyball at IU. The last thing I would do is defend BC but it may not be like you think.
  7. It's actually very nice.
  8. That was Heritage Hills back in the glory days. Not only would we run 3 or 4 plays, lineman would walk to the line and tell them exactly where the ball was going, and say "good luck". The same play would be run until it was stopped....then run something else, but it typically wasn't stopped.
  9. I think STC got on crank and created a burner.....
  10. Yeah, they feel as bad as the dad rejecting his 5 year old in the driveway playing basketball.
  11. Fact. Chatard is just a borish conversation anymore. Nobody would be surprised if they put a running clock on their opponents in every game they have left (one of those comments that I hope doesn't age well). It is just a magical place. For the record, I am torn....I would love to see TV (or anyone!) beat these guys, but on the other hand, I want them to keep winning and get bumped to where they belong.
  12. Indeed. Sad really....makes me feel....
  13. Didn't Batesville beat Lawrenceburg?

  16. At least the 2 best teams will be in the final and supposedly VL will have their QB back by that time.
  17. HH vs Mount Vernon Friday, September 29th 7:00 pm CST Kickoff @ Mount Vernon High School History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (5-1) @ Mount Vernon (4-2) Mount Vernon High School Friday, September 29, 2023 7:00 pm CST Kickoff This is the 23rd meeting between Heritage Hills and Mount Vernon (Posey). The two teams played in the regular season every year from 1974-1981 and resumed the regular season series in 2014. They have also met four times in sectional play and once in the regional. This is a big game in the PAC Large Division between the teams that finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in 2021. The Patriots lead the series 15-7, and like most of the Patriots opponents, in the early 70's Mount Vernon dominated the series; The Wildcats won 3 of the first 4 games. In 1978, Bob Clayton's first Patriot team turned the tides with a win and the Patriots have won 14 of the last 18 games. 18. Yeah, you guys really "beat yourselves" in that 4th quarter.
  19. Chatard vs Heritage Hills (who put 363 yards of offense on Gibson Southern last Friday--we get that safety and negate a stupid 90ish yard long run from Delong that got away from us and its a different game) T32--just funnin'...hope to see you again at Semi-State.
  20. 99.9% of the time the media has no idea what it is talking about and this is obviously one of those times. I recognize you are being sarcastic...I am well versed in that, but again, we must play our very best football to compete here.
