  1. And a river of Busch Light if you know where to look. Nothing quite like Dubois County, and I'm thankful for that.
  2. I didn't say not having him wouldn't impact, but you always need to adapt to life without key players. After all, this is football and season ending injuries happen all the time. We were obviously not prepared mentally for Jett exiting the game last week. Figure it out, adapt, move on.
  3. All down to coaching. There is not a single person that makes or breaks this game. The coaches have to have them mentally prepared, we got the horses, but must have the mentality. When 1 person is bigger than the program, things will fall apart. Get your head right and go.
  4. Got to insert the graphic.... SECTIONAL 24 Championship HH vs Jasper Friday, November 7th **EARLY KICKOFF** 6:30 pm CST @ Jasper Alumni Stadium History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (10-1) @ Jasper (9-2) Jasper Alumni Stadium Friday, November 7, 2025 6:30 pm CST Kickoff This is the 26th meeting between Heritage Hills and Jasper. Heritage Hills leads the series 14-11. Jasper and Heritage Hills played in the regular season in the 1978 and 1979 seasons and the Wildcats won both meetings. The 1979 Patriot loss was a tough one, because a win would have given the Patriots their first unbeaten season to clinch a playoff berth. After the 1979 season, Jasper was replaced on the Patriot schedule with North Knox, who joined the PAC for a brief period. The Patriots went 10-0 in 1979, but without Jasper on the schedule the Patriots had played too many 1A schools and did not earn enough points for a playoff berth. The Patriots and Wildcats didn’t meet again until Jasper dropped to 3A from 1993-1996 and they split the four sectional matchups. After Jasper moved back to 4A, the two teams wouldn't meet again until the regular season series resumed in 2001. Heritage Hills won the 2001 game knocking off the eventual 4A state champion Wildcats. After the win in 2001, the Patriots won the next 6 meetings to take a 9-4 series lead. Starting with an 18-0 win in 2008 Jasper won 6 of the next 7 meetings to tie the series at 10-10. Since then, the Patriots have won 4 of the last 5 meetings. This season Jasper is averaging 31.6 ppg and giving up 14.4 ppg, while the Patriots are averaging 51.2 ppg and giving up 9.8 ppg. Since the all-in playoffs started in 1985, this is the 27th time the Patriots have advanced to the Sectional Championship. 5. A bunch....almost everyone, it has always been that way. Yes, Jett is a candidate.
  6. Like the clown, I too believe this will be a 3 score game, but MD having their QB back is huge. But still--3 scores. I have said it once and will continue--GS wins state. Memorial is down, Chatard out. Recipe complete. PAC wins state back to back!
  7. Weird, right? Why is that so? We certainly have a past and I have no doubt we will get their best. A buddy in Jasper asked me for my score prediction....I said 24 - 17. I think it will be close and uncomfortable. Many don't think so, that is part of what got us beat against GS--"oh, we will be fine".
  8. These are old rivals that unfortunately don't get to play anymore--now our scrimmage partner. There is quite a history between these 2 schools and they both see red when playing each other. 12. This. Last year in sectional when we were up 21-0 and everybody was giddy about an upcoming blowout, I said that had no confidence about winning the game as Hurley is one of the best coaches in Southern Indiana, maybe the best....then they came out in the 2nd half and tied it up 21-21. I hated to say "i told you so". With that said Hart is one of the best coaches in the area as well. I haven't seen Memorial play, but I believe GS pulls this off and wins state, gotta go with the PAC brethren. The good news is that you aren't playing for 2nd place in 3A this year.
  13. Exactly what the boys thought when they went up against the other Hart. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "We will be fine". This includes my son, whom I told, expect trouble because it is coming. Hate to, but I gave him the "I told you so" after we got beat at Jewell. Never count out one of the Harts. Add to that the fact that Jasper hates us (feeling is mutual), one of the best non-conference rivalries that hasn't had a chance at each others throats in a while and well, it could get spicy.
  14. SECTIONAL 24 OPENER HH vs Washington Friday, October 24th **EARLY KICKOFF** 6:30 pm CDT @ Washington High School History Of The Matchup Heritage Hills (8-1) @ Washington (4-5) Washington High School Friday, October 24, 2025 6:30 pm CDT Kickoff This is the 12th meeting between Heritage Hills and Washington. The Patriots lead the series 11-0. This Friday night, the Washington Hatchets will host the Heritage Hills Patriots in the Sectional 24 opener. Heritage Hills enters the game with an 8-1 record, powered by one of the most explosive offenses in Indiana. With a slew of great athletes, protected by a big athletic offensive line, the Patriots have routinely lit up scoreboards, while holding opponents to minimal points, thanks to a disciplined, physical defense. Washington has had it’s struggles against top-tier teams this season, but continue to show improvements and they’ll lean on senior leaders like Brody Clark, Jordan Emmick, Cooper Wright, Brody Isza, and Cordell Turner to try to slow down the Patriots and keep pace in a tough matchup. This game will feature two of the best kickers in the state of Indiana as well! Washington is averaging 22.8 ppg and giving up 31.6 ppg, while Heritage Hills is averaging 52.89 ppg and giving up 9.67 ppg. Our Patriots defeated the Hatchets 49-7 earlier this season. 15. Backwards. If everything goes as expected, we will play Reitz at home and Jasper at Jasper. I'm fine with it. I want as many away games as possible, because if we have the opportunity to play Chatard, I want that at home.
  16. I'm sure we will have our privilege to get our P/P beatdown up in Indy. We have to make it there first....if we play like we did this last Friday night, we won't find our way out of sectional.
  17. Zach is an absolute unit. In our game with GS, he was head and shoulders above everyone on the field. Without the obvious roadblock in 3a, there is a real possibility that he could end up with over 3000 yards. Just gotta get out of 32....

  25. Not quite but it is close. We have 35 on the varsity roster. I believe GS has close to 60. You could see it Friday night in the imbalance on the sidelines. Regardless, once sectionals get here, our 20 guys (effective roster) need to be able to go the distance. I said the same as you Friday after the game--losing that game may be the best thing that happens. This is truth. Gibson Southern is an excellent team--obviously VERY well coached. This may be another year with whoever wins Sectional 32 wins state.
