So clear something up for me. The kid that played QB last year (jr) he is back this year? My understanding was that he was committed to Notre Dame for baseball and his return to football was questionable. It appears he is playing. Yes? If so, the dude is a talent. Very impressive in last years game.

Don't have the cool graphic yet, but lets get this party started! HH won in an expected blowout, congrats to North Harrison on the first sectional in school history and Coach Williamson on his retirement (he was my gym teacher in high school 30 years ago, didn't even know he coached there). Batesville won in a very exciting comeback fashion over Tri West, would love to have seen that one, all I got was the continual updates on MaxPreps. Anyway, for the numbers.....in the HH "glory days" we played Batesville for 5 consecutive years. EIAC Regional Week
HHPatriots replied to Coffin K9's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Go Dawgs! Come to the Jungle for SS! -
yeah, but it goes by enrollment. Southridge jumped ahead of MV in enrollment, thus the switch.
-
Yes, supposedly, Southridge is moving up, Mt. Vernon moving down, happening next year, again supposedly.

Go Bulldogs! The Patriot Nation is rooting for you against Tri-West. You win Friday, you get a trip to the Jungle for Semi-State. Yes, I am assuming we win this Friday, we play North Harrison...you guys have your work cut out for you, we will likely have an early night. WIN!!! My real motive here is that I don't want to travel to Hendricks County. But again--Go Bulldogs! -
"except Castle not playing guys both ways" All the guys we have playing both ways, isn't a problem--until it is. This is the time of year it becomes a problem. We play guys both ways WHEN WE DO NOT HAVE TO. This drives me insane, but my sanity doesn't matter here. But this is one of the things that can get us beat, and does against great teams. I'm not sure how this Memorial team would stack up against CAL, a game I'd like to have back. I think we could tighten that us a bit. That was an excellent team.

Southridge used to run it, and they ran it very well.

I'd say getting out was a problem at SS, my son is a player so I didn't leave until later so I didn't experience that. It was standing room only and the field was circled with people. It was like the "glory days" at HH when the hill sides were packed with people. With our new bleachers that is a bit different than it used to be, a little more seating capacity on the home side. I'd park strategically if I were you.
