yeah, the 2 announcements from the QB club were about an hour and a half apart. I'm not sure what is gained, we are still going to tear a brand new field all to crap. MUD BOWL! I heard the EVSC moved to tomorrow as well, not sure... -

They have a fairly healthy property tax bill, along with the folks that work there. That doesn't hurt. -

They should have went with the Gibson Southern Siennas, or maybe the Highlanders. That would go well with the "field that Toyota built". -
Since it will more than likely decide the PAC (BIG side) conference champs I thought I'd throw it up for any interesting discussion. If nothing else so the Memorial folks can berate us both. Should be a great atmosphere, it would be sweet if the Jungle was as packed as last November. HH vs GIBSON SOUTHERN Friday, September 27th 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup Gibson Southern (4-1) @ Heritage Hills (4-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle - Lincoln City, IN Friday, September 27, 2024 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff This is the 52nd meeting between Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern. Heritage Hills leads the overall series 34-17 after a 23-20 semi-state victory over the Titans last November. Our Patriots are averaging 35.8 ppg on offense, while holding opponents to 11.2 ppg. The Titans are averaging 37.4 ppg, while allowing 16.6 ppg. The Patriots also faced three teams that consolidated into Gibson Southern High School in the 1972 and 1973 seasons. Heritage Hills went 0-2 vs Fort Branch, 1-1 vs Haubstadt and 2-0 vs Owensville. In the first season of Patriot Football, the Patriots went 9-1 and their only loss was to Fort Branch (15-12). The Titans won the first three meetings in the series by beating Roger Snow’s Patriots in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The Patriots didn’t beat the Titans for the first time until 1977, which was the year Bob Ashworth became the Patriots Head Coach. The 1977 season was Bob Clayton's only season as Offensive Coordinator at Heritage Hills before he stepped into the Head Coach role. The following season Ashworth moved onto Evansville Reitz and Clayton took over the Heritage Hills program. The Titans have won 13 of the last 20 meetings starting with a win in 2010 that snapped the Patriots streak of 21 straight wins over the Titans. Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern have played 5 overtime games in the series including a 7-0 five overtime affair in 1982. WE NEED YOU this Friday LOUD & PROUD! BRING THE 12th MAN! Yeah, well, while I hope you are right, in my opinion it can't be close if we have any hope of: #1 competing for a conference championship--this is a monkey that has been on the back since 2019 #2 even thinking about competing for sectional In other words, we need to make a statement win tonight, unless NP is a ton better than I think they are. -

things as simple as temperature for practice.....I mean this coach defines old school. Back in the 90's, Bob Clayton would have laughed hysterically if you said it was too hot for practice. SO WE ARE CLEAR, THIS IS AN EXAMPLE NOT AN "I HEARD"

It may be hard to believe these days, but historically South Spencer is 2nd (to Southridge) in number of wins against us.... HH vs SOUTH SPENCER Friday, September 13th 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff HOMECOMING NIGHT @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup South Spencer (1-2) @ Heritage Hills (2-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle - Lincoln City, IN Friday, September 13, 2024 7:00 pm CST Kickoff This is the 54th meeting between Heritage Hills and South Spencer. The Patriots lead the overall series 41-12. This season the Patriots are averaging 29.3 ppg (points per game) and giving up 16.3 ppg, while the Rebels average 28.0 ppg and are giving up 30.3 ppg. The 12 wins that South Spencer has over Heritage Hills is second to Southridge for the most wins of any opponent against the Patriots. South Spencer is one of only three teams that have been on the Patriot football schedule at least once, every year, since their inaugural season in 1972. Like many of the Patriot's opponents, the Rebels dominated the Patriots in the early days of the series winning 5 of the first 7 meetings. The Patriots went on to win 4 of the next 5 games to tie the series up at 6-6. The Rebels would regain the series lead 7-6 with an overtime win in 1984 and the series would remain tightly contested through the first 21 meetings. After a Rebel win in 1991, the Patriots led the series by a slim 11-10 margin. After that loss the Patriots won the next 19 meetings before the Rebels ended the streak with a 14-0 win in 2011. The Patriots have won 11 out of the last 12 games since the loss in 2011. PACK THE JUNGLE this Friday to cheer for the RED, WHITE, & BLUE!
