Adams County Athletic Conference

My predicted order of finish: 1. East Noble- They will take back over control of the NE8 with Leo hit by graduation and a new coach. 2. Norwell- I think they will make some noise in 3A but will not get the NE8 crown. 3. Leo- Will be fun to watch the athletes at Leo in the spread offense. Give them a couple years. 4. New Haven- Possibly the most athletic team in the conference but will be undisciplined as they always are and lose to better coached teams. 5. Columbia City- Will be interesting to see how they do without Bolt but always seem to have good numbers. 6. HN- Not sure why they haven't been able to make a jump into the top of this conference yet. 7. Bellmont- Will be slightly improved, but will still struggle as the smallest school in the conference. 8. Dekalb- Will continue to struggle.

19. (8): Angola, Columbia City, DeKalb, East Noble, Fort Wayne South Side, Fort Wayne Wayne, Leo, New Haven 5 NE8 teams in the same sectional with close to possibly 6 if Norwell would have went 4A. Is this the most conference teams that are in the same sectional in the state?

What does Pioneer bring back? I don't think NJ or Triton can challenge the Jets. They have a very strong current sophomore class.

I would add Todd Mason from Eastside and possibly Josh Gerber from Norwell.

I really think they only two teams in the north that could have given AC a scare we’re Busco and Monroe Central. The Jets probably already have some Lutheran film. I also thought the only team in north in 2A that that could give BL a game was Andrean so who knows.

AC and Lutheran are on a crash course for Lucas Oil Stadium.

Wasn’t the senior transfer RB for CC last year that rushed for 300 plus In the state game also the MVP of the North-South game? Crazy how that happens.

Too bad for COVID. Can you imagine if the 2A sectional was Luers, AC, Eastside.

We had the Decatur Yellow Jackets, Decatur Catholic Commadors, and the Monmouth Eagles that formed Bellmont.

Combing the 3 Adams Co Schools would put the enrollment around 1400. I think they would do very well in the 4A North. This would probably be the Sectional they would fall into. Delta FW South Side FW Wayne Huntington North Jay County Marion Mississinewa New Haven

I would agree and add Adams Central to that too. AC and SA both have around 350 students and seem to have close to 45-50 players every year. They figure out ways to beat the bigger schools on their schedules.

Have heard they will be going into the second year in a row without a varsity team. Will make the ACAC much more of a competitvive conference where someone other than SA or AC win it every year. Will give Norwell a chance for some championships. And maybe we can win some games finally! NE8 adds Angola and West Noble

Dont take to sarcasm well I see? Have you read this thread? The entire point of the first post was why small private schools can get big move transfers while small publics can not.

Anyway. It was one of the best games I have ever watched. He was the best player on the field. Not sure why he wasn't on the All State Team.

You sure? I was told he was there freshman and sopohmore year from a CC Coach. Also, how was that kid not All State?
