  1. They were quite offensive!
  2. O for 2 so far! I hope you're correct for the next game. I don't believe anyone thought the "U" would handle tOSU like that. Texas Tech was just no match for Oregon.
  3. Well, Oregon becomes the first team to get a first round bye to win in the quarterfinals. They shut out Texas Tech and move on. Hopefully IU will do the same coming up.
  4. Is it a national championship or not? I have no problems with the G5 teams having a go at each other, but they certainly didn't belong among the elite teams trying to win the Natty!
  5. Notre Dame, Miami and Alabama were more deserving than James Madison and Tulane. I still think you want the best twelve teams. Hopefully that gets cleaned up next year. I'm sure glad that IU is included, as I have someone to root for! I sure hope they don't come out rusty like tOSU.
  6. The U took tOSU to the woodshed!
  7. The "U" moves on! And another team with a first round bye loses! That's five in a row!
  8. AMEN!!!
  9. If you are to have a "championship" you need to have the best teams playing in it. It's just that simple. Vanderbilt and BYU would have their way with Tulane and James Madison too. Myself, I wouldn't mind seeing an all-in playoff. Cut back to 11 games and let everyone play. It would take an extra couple of games but it would avoid the criticism that comes with a committee choosing teams. And that would take care of conference champions making the playoffs, except those who the committee thought not worthy, like Duke. If you're going by the rules, Duke's in.
  10. It seems that the Colts left their defense in Seattle! The 'Niners are having their way with the Colts.
  11. P4 schools have the resources and are, without a doubt, able to field 12 teams better than any P5 school. Even Paul Finebaum is seeing the light! Is it the best 12 or is it the contorted system we have now. Duke was the ACC champion, why didn't the committee stay the course and name them as one of the 12? The whole thing boils down to Tulane and James Madison had no business being in the CFP! The games proved that!
  12. Well, the two imposters are gone early! It was appropriate to post this in two topics.
  13. Well, the two imposters are gone early. I'm sure no one is surprised.
  14. Pretty nice Bear comeback last night. And as far as the Indiana Bears, we have OTC gun sales here in the Hoosier state, and enough folks from Chicago come and take part in that enterprise. So, rule nothing out. And as far as politicians with their hands out, Indiana is second to none!
  15. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer agree with you about Tulane and James Madison not being in the CFP.
  16. That could be true! Also, the Colts are right back in QB trouble after Andrew's retirement. It looks like there are ongoing problems with Anthony Richardson's eyesight, even though he's been cleared to practice.
  17. Well deserved!😎
  18. JT was doing just fine with Daniel Jones at the QB, and he's not Johnny Unitas by any means. He had some moments but faded after the Pittsburgh game. I do agree that a downfield passing game is beneficial to a RB.
  19. Wow, I thought I clicked on a Notre Dame thread!🤨
  20. Oh, the game was a cluster bleep, and the outcome was painful. The defense was stout and seemed to have an edge that's been missing. Richardson has been cleared to practice, so we'll see what next Monday brings. I believe Steichen loves Rivers too much to not start him. And AR sure isn't going to be ready for any meaningful action this soon. I guess there's no way that Riley Leonard gets on the field either, unless Rivers is injured or just runs out of gas.
  21. Like!
  22. Well, whatever the reason, it's about time someone woke up in Bloomington. I'm glad they did, so I have someone to root for during the CFP.
  23. All that's quite true, but why wait until 2024 to take football seriously? It's a big money maker and has been even before NIL. Football has been in the shadows of basketball at IU forever!
  24. This is by far the best Colt effort of the season. Grupe just kicked a 60, yes 60, yard field goal with :47 seconds left o take a 16-15 lead. The Seahawks only need a FG to win it with only 25 seconds left. Seahawks win it with a 56 yard field goal. The Seahawks didn't score a TD today. Great Colt efffort today!
