    Last year is last year... what a difference a year makes. Our DBs are not that good. The North side game would have been different if the legends could catch.

    Dwenger is not bringing in stands. Luers, South, North and Carroll DON'T. Why should Dwenger. Half of the Homestead crowd at home is band parents. Homestead will probably pick Dwenger apart with its passing game.

    So where would they go? Concordia explored that option and the NE8 said no to private schools. Maybe they should get rid of the coaching staff? Seems that the last change is when the down hill slide started. That is my opinion.

    I will get there about 6pm. There is plenty of parking. You can park at Northwood across the street. Plus BD has a big lot behind the school. The big issue was the road construction on Washington center rd. Big mess. I expect a good battle. I want BD but feel this is Homsteads. Hope I am wrong.

    Agree, beat the Chargers? Please, Carroll played well against Snider but it also exposed Snider. Concordia took advantage of that but lacks the depth to really do anything. Dwenger and Homestead will be a Epic battle. I think Sparty takes this one.

    Like I said over a month ago. I as a BD Guy, picked Homestead, and everyone laughed. I also said the Running back for Homestead would have a breakout year. I hope next week is a barnburner. Love classics.

    Also the traffic after the game was heavy because the Snider game was done about 10 minutes before ours. That traffic goes passed Dwenger. The traffic before game time was your normal Friday rush hour. People parking at Washington square are the tailgaters who want to Drink. Sad but true.

    A lot of the Dwenger fans are not on here anymore. If you have not noticed the numbers seem down from all schools. It is the new security for the GID. a lot don't want to mess with it.

    The traffic on St. Joe center is a mess because of the major city project. Down to one lane. New side walks, storm run off and new curbs and asphalt.

    Carroll didn't look good at the scrimmage. And beating Luers was no big deal. Luers is bad. Snider should Mercy rule Carroll

    Dwenger has it's own mercy rule. When the go up 14 the start rotating in 2nd teamers. If they get up 28 the 2nd team is all in. What I hate is the losing team is down 35 points they still have there starters in against our 2nd and 3rd teamers. I called those garbage points. So I like the rule. But it hurts good programs who build there back ups with real game time. So I like that idea of 6qts.

    You are so close on the scores. I bet you would have been closer if the Mercy rule didn't finish games faster. No garbage scores.

    My Guess for the winners are Dwenger, Carroll, Snider, Homstead and Concordia.

    I work with a mom of a Homestead player... she said. "We are horrible" great athletes, the coaches have to go... I was shocked that she said that.

    Back in 2004 Dwenger played at Belmont. The referees did something different. They carried the ball over to the chains.... the odd thing they only did it for the home team. Belmont got a lot of first downs... they won the game too. We can just do that from now on...

    Oh I Agree 100%. Ledo looked good.

    Carrolls defense looked good. Dwenger looked flat but I also know they sat a few key players. Gave the younger kids more time. It was like watching NFL preseason game. I Do think the Saints will be ok. They are always slow the first game. Good chance they could lose next week at Wayne.
