I will definitely agree it is a kids game, and typically when there are problems, no matter what the problem might be, it is usually caused by over competitive adults. And there is a fine line that sometimes gets crossed. But you also can't just look at a final score and say team A ran it up. That's my only point.

And yes, there are times when teams have run up the score, but to call out schools and say that every 35 point win is running it up without any specific knowledge of the situation is completely irresponsible.

I'm not a huge fan of the running clock. The rule that makes the biggest difference IMO is the 6 quarter rule. Up until this year, schools like New Pal couldn't really sub until the 4th quarter otherwise they wouldn't be able to field a JV team. Now in games like last night, 56-0 at halftime, the starters didn't play at all in the 2nd half and younger kids got more playing time.

I do know their expected starting QB quit to concentrate on baseball(UK commit) and their top O lineman transferred to Princeton so he could graduate early and enroll in the spring at Ohio State. Still multiple D1 recruits and alot of talent. Be interesting to see how Brownsburg matches up. Be surprised if St. X didn't win though.

Trinity is much better this year than last, Warren not as good this year, if I had to pick I'd say Trinity by 2 scores. Should be fun though!!

Moved the ball at will, especially in the 1st half, self inflicted mistakes stopped them, not Warren, and 2 of Warren's 3 scoring drives CG made big mistakes, either blown coverage or unnecessary penalties that kept the drive going. They were better up front on both sides of the ball, Warren made a couple of plays but for the most part everything they got was a result of something CG did wrong, not what they did right. Long season but if they meet again in the postseason I'd say CG by at least 14. And don't get me wrong, Warren is good, CG just better.

I like CG in this one. They were clearly the better team against Warren and gave it away. I don't see them making the same mistakes this week. Also, NP has a new QB making his 2nd start and CG will be after some redemption after last year. CG 31-28. Go Dragons!!!
