  1. Well you can keep you "source" to yourself for all I care as its factually inaccurate. And believe whatever you want, most in your situation cherry pick whatever fits their narrative. And I wouldn't be surprised what most feel about Coach Ralph as I live in the community and had a son go through the program so I know how they feel 1st hand, not through "confidential sources". So feel free to have your opinion and enjoy your day.
  2. I'm guessing you've never been to a New Pal game nor actually looked at the situation. Part of the reason for the rule changes to allow 6 quarters per week were because often times in blowouts teams would have to play their starters for 3 full quarters otherwise they couldn't field JV or freshman teams. And to call out Coach Ralph, whom I assume you've never met or even spoken to shows very little class, especially considering you've got facts wrong in this post so it can be assumed you don't bother to even try to get the whole story. But hey, there's plenty of that in the world so your additional piling on is typical.
  3. I'll throw my useless 2 cents in: 6A - Center Grove 5A - New Pal 4A - Mooresville 3A - Chatard 2A - Western Boone 1A - Indianapolis Lutheran
  4. New Palestine 21 Greenfield Central 0 6:30 left in the 1st. Dragons have 3 TDs on 5 plays
  5. Apparently it was New Pal that reached out first. I read statements from New Pal AD Al Cooper confirming. I find that very odd but ok. Good for Shelbyville for honoring the original contract when New Pal's replacement game fell through. They could have easily said "sorry but we have a game now, and this was your idea"
  6. That's still only 1 side of it. Not that it matters either way but I wonder which side tried to cancel 1st. I find it hard to believe that New Pal would try and cancel a conference game. What's the motivation? Altruism? The only potential replacement games would be massive blow outs as well. I could see it if someone like Cathedral suddenly had an opening, but to cancel Shelbyville for Jasper? I don't see it.
  7. Not sure 2 awful seasons rises to level of contraction. The 3 seasons prior were 7-3, 7-3, and 9-2. Granted no deep tournament runs but those are good years. It's pretty clear if they find a good coach they can compete. I heard the same. Not that the Jasper game would've been competitive either but not the ridiculous mismatch Shelbyville will be
  8. Not saying you're at all wrong but I don't understand how that can happen to a conference game. Shelbyville should probably be kicked out of the league for stuff like that.
  9. That game is in a week and half. New Pal has Greenfield this Friday followed by Shelbyville, not exactly murderers row. But then neither is the entire HHC
  10. They most certainly would. As well as @Footballking16 assertion of Cathedral being the most explosive offense in the state. Though it is a fun discussion and I'll admit my bias but I've seen both play and I'll take New Pal. Should make for a fun regional though.
  11. Coaches should have already educated their players not to go on the field when the play is still going on. And its irrelevant if Ben Davis was going to pick it up and run it in or not. Rules are in place for reason. And you said hard to make kids control their emotions, what's your excuse for the multiple coaches running on the field? And yes, every week big plays get called back for fouls behind the play. I guess I'm not sure what you're advocating for, selective rule enforcement?
  12. I think they got it right. Tough way to lose but it was a live ball foul. Heck you had almost half the bench plus several coaches on the field right near the play.
  13. I said when it started it should be a 4 year not 2 year cycle. 1 good class could give you an aberration that gives you enough points to move up. Then that class graduates and you've got no chance in a larger class for 2 years. The point is to equal the playing field for programs that prove the consistently play above their class
  14. Couldn't find a URL link but lookup the MIC Network on Facebook, they had the game last night. Go to about the 2 hour 51 minute mark, you can see the play live, then the replay angle from field level on the sideline shows it very clear. A bunch of Warriors, including coaches were on the field while the ball was still live.
  15. Right, kinda of a letter of the law vs spirit of the law thing. I'd probably be mad too if it happened to New Pal. However, WC did allow BD to convert a 4th and 19 on that final drive so.....it really should have never come down to the end like that
  16. Basically WC partially blocked a game tying FG attempt and before the play was blown dead a bunch of WC players ran onto the field and got flagged for it. BD then kicked the tying FG and BD went on to win in 2OT.
  17. Technically the play wasn't blown dead yet. Which I'm sure will have many WC fans bent and blaming the officials. However, if you don't give up a first down on essentially a hail mary on 4th and 19 WC survives a bad night and it never gets to the mess at the end.
  18. No doubt, as a Steeler fan the Walter Andrew Brister III era was rough
  19. Actually a hot garbage start for the Dragons Pendleton Heights 3 New Pal 0 3 minutes left 1st
