When did New Pal lose to Noblesville? Anyway, you are right about Michigan City and Cathedral missing some opportunities, most of which had more to do with New Pal's defense than anything. I think you're way off though expecting New Pal's 2 way guys to wear down. They've played at least 2 teams at least as good as Valpo, I'd argue better, neither of which have guys going both ways and the Dragons wore them down. I expect a great game for at least 3 quarters. I'm interested to see if Valpo has enough offense to stay in it and if New Pal can throw it effectively enough to keep Valpo from just loading the box to stop the run.

Pretty much spot on here. NP gets stronger as the game goes on, particularly Spegal. @crimsonace1 has the stats I'm sure but Charlie's per carry average is best from carry 20 on as he and the o line just wear teams down.

Agree. Valpo's defense is good but no one has been able to tackle Spegal for 4 quarters. And having watched the 2nd half of Valpo v Dwenger, Valpo isn't near as good as Cathedral on offense or defense.

I'll agree but that doesn't necessarily mean legit title contenders every year. See 2016. Good team but not really a threat to make a deep run.

New Pal could this year. Not saying they would but they could. They might even be favored. I would argue that Cathedral this year could as well. I also think last years New Pal team could have although much less likely.
