  1. Stop it. You don't win 42-13 by accident. That was an outstanding East team. I don't give a RIP who was "out".
  2. You sir win the day for that one!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  3. Agreed, I have 0 confidence on what may happen Friday night other than it will be 2 very good, well coached teams playing and I'll be very cold in the stands.
  4. That was required to pre-purchase a ticket from the school 🤣🤣🤣
  5. We had 5000+ at each of our 3 recent forays to LOS from a town of 2800. I think everyone who ever spoke the name of the town was there in support 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  6. 1. Center Grove 2. Carmel 3. Ben Davis 4. Warren Central 5. Zionsville 6. Homestead 7. Merrillville 8. Warsaw
  7. Agree, it's a coin flip game. Only shock would be if it's a blow out either way.
  8. That 2015 title game was fun but weird, we were terrible in the 1st quarter, Snider was terrible in the 3rd and in the end a blocked XP was the difference. And yeah played in 5A since 2015 and haven't really missed a beat. Consistently close to 100% attendance in off season participation. Typically only stuff missed is cause kids are in other sports which Coach Ralph encourages.
  9. A big part of it yes. My kid was a senior on the 2014 4A title team so he saw pre Coach Ralph as well as the changes Coach Ralph implemented and the biggest difference is the off season participation in conditioning and weight room. When at best you have 50-60 kids(including a lot of freshmen) on the sidelines on Friday night you've got to be strong in incredible shape. It's not really an option to not have quite a few 2 way guys. I still remember that 1st parents meeting with Coach Ralph and him saying if you buy in we will compete for state championships consistently. I kinda thought "sounds great but we shall see, we were just 3-7". Well here we are 7 years in and Coach Ralph is 85-4 with 3 finals appearances and 2 titles and a legit shot again.
  10. Quite a few that play both ways. We have a very physical group. I don't see it being a big issue. And I'm not saying we will out physical Cathedral by any stretch. But don't look for New Pal to wear down, as I don't expect the Irish will either. I was honestly very surprised that we wore down Center Grove in the 4th quarter. But then again I'd hate to be a DL or LB and have to tackle Spegal for 4 quarters. I know its cliche but I very much believe whoever controls the line of scrimmage better wins. I expect an instant classic.
  11. Agreed, and I take full responsibility for feeding the trolls. Sorry I can't help myself sometimes.
  12. Well actually I was and both 4th quarter picks occurred inside the Irish 30 and only 1 after the Irish had a 10 point lead, but whatever makes feel better.
  13. I'll take CG 20-14 They should have won the 1st one and are the better team IMO.
  14. And by the way, Maxpreps shows Chatard with more total yards, I did you a favor showing you your own teams stat post, which still blows up your point.
  15. Sorry, Cathedral had 26 more total yards, everything else I said was accurate sure looks like a potential blow out to me, by Chatard that is if the don't turn it over
  16. I hate predicting when my team is involved. That said the last 2 times I wasn't very confident in the Dragons getting a win, they rolled. Definitely don't expect that: New Pal 35 Cathedral 31
  17. See @Temptation post. Clearly your definition of 75% differs from the rest of the planet.
  18. Now you're just clouding the issue with facts. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  19. Actually 84-4, how dare you disrespect Coach Ralph's record. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I agree 100%. And the Irish may very well win, but I think the only surprise would be if it is a blowout either way.
  20. My point is that the way to beat them is make them try to have long sustained drives. That's where they seem to be less effective. They're a great team no doubt. Just like the way to beat New Pal is to make them throw it a bunch. Not saying either one is easy or guaranteed to be successful. But you look to force teams to do what they're less comfortable doing. It's not an insult. Not sure why all the Irish fans are so sensitive??? Starting to sound like Warren Central fans. "How dare anyone say we aren't perfect "
  21. A few others as well including last night. 1st half 291 yards on 20 plays. 3 plays totaled 236 of those so 17 plays for 55 yards. They're a big play offense. And a very good one.
  22. I wouldn't disagree with anything you said. If I'm trying to beat New Pal I'd probably play 100% man coverage on the outside, load the box and blitz alot. If I'm trying to beat Cathedral I'm gonna try and make them be methodical and have long drives.
  23. Its gonna be fun for sure. I would give the slight edge to Cathedral because I think they have been the more consistent team all year. While New Pal has played great when they've had to, I've seen them not look like a title team several games.
