  1. Or reloading :)…. Obviously you aren’t replacing two D1 players aka “cheat codes”. Trojan Nation should be more alarmed at the coaching staff potential losses and weak schedule. The cupboard for talent isn’t as bare as many would think. 5A also isn’t a death warrant either. If you go back to the 90s and early 2000s you’ll see quite a few teams which used to be in 4A now in 5A (Columbus East, Seymour, BN, Floyd Central). And with Chatard back in 4A and Dwenger (they are down this year) 4A may be a meat grinder much more than 5A.
  2. EC 32- Gwood 0 EC with two safeties and Gwood tries two unsuccessful onside kicks, one from the 20 and the other from the 10. 🤷🏻
  3. You must have watched the EC-Cville game last night.
  4. We could all only hope for a better schedule. Maybe all the other EIAC schools can get together like Lawrenceburg did a few years back and refuse to play Trojan Nation 🤷🏻. Oh well - at least this week we aren’t driving to Connertucky.
  5. Yep - EIAC small school and sectional 31 run through CasketNation.
  6. In a clash of the unbeaten, under CasketNations lights,TrojanNation charged forth, ready for the fights,Against the Batesville Bullpups, fierce and bold,In an EIAC gridiron story waiting to be told. JR15, the maestro of swift, thunderous strides,Mr. Football contender, in EC BLACK he rides,With every step, he echoes a Trojan's call,Ready to conquer, to break down the wall. He'll run wild and free, a force to reckon,Leaving the Bullpups in a dust-filled reckon,With each yard gained, the TrojanNation will roar,Ringer's prowess is close to legendary lore. Brotherton, the D1 star with hands of gold,Leaps and catches, his story to be told,In the end zone's embrace, he'll find his flight,Securing touchdowns, igniting Trojan Nations delight. In the heart of the battle, under the stadium's gleam,Batesville's quarterback faced a challenging dream,Struggled all night, under Trojan's defensive might,As EC Trojans stood tall, their determination took flight. Notre Dame's finest faced a relentless storm,Trojan defense fierce, their spirit warm,In the face of pressure, they stood like a wall,Making victory elusive, holding CasketNation in thrall. And the Behlmer bullpups, once a force to reckon,Found the old EC offense hard to beckon,Trojan Linebackers relentless, a relentless tide,Their Zintheknee, and ISO/Buck plays repeatedly denied. As the game raged on, Trojans showed their might,Building a lead that soared to a staggering height,A 35-point advantage, the scoreboard displayed,Trojan Nation rejoiced, their spirits never swayed. The running clock ticked, as seconds flew by,Behlmer bullpups struggled, they couldn't deny,Trojan dominance, a spectacle to behold,Their prowess in EIAC football, a story untold. Trojan Nation cheered, their voices rang clear,In the face of an unbeaten, they had nothing to fear,With a 35-point lead, the victory secure,EC Trojans' triumph, of that, they were sure.
  7. He, his team, and Trojan Nation lost one in 03 due to the worst call in football history. I find it ironic that some of your D1 talent have EC bloodlines 😂.
  8. Talent, talent, it's funny, STC say,The Tigers had Parris, who shone in his day,A Hodge winner's honor, a wrestling delight,Yet a state championship remained just out of sight. And Craig, on a full ride to Notre Dame's grace,With skills so remarkable, and size to embrace,But the title, alas, remained elusive and grand,Despite their talents, slipping from their hand. In the world of sports, where dreams of being EC take their flight,Even with talent aplenty, victory's not always in sight,The Tigers gave their all, in each and every game,But the state championship, for now, stays untamed.
  9. In StinkTownClown and Lawrenceburg's plight, East Central football shines so bright, Three decades gone, a streak so great, Since '85, the Trojans dominate. With thirty wins, their triumphs clear, The Tigers' hopes they did severe, Just five for them, a small lament, East Central's might, they couldn't prevent. An average score of thirty-two to ten, For East Central, victory once again, In the football field, they reign supreme, A thirty-year reign, a triumphant dream. And during that time, it's important to know, East Central boasts three crowns with a radiant glow, State Championships earned, a remarkable feat, While Lawrenceburg's tally remains incomplete.
  10. Appears we had a couple statements made last night in the EIAC. JR15 checked a huge box to be a viable Mr Football candidate last night at “Bicknell Stadium”. To score 6 TDS against Stinktown is one thing, however, to dominate a GCL defense is another! DM36 might be the third best RB in the conference after last nights performance. I’m certain he didn’t get his speed from the Senator. Belhmers Bullpups just planted a flag to let all of sectional 31 and EIAC small school know the title goes through CasketNation. I’m sure Rockin Rod hasn’t seen a line that size since the 93 Brickies! I’d also imagine at some point he was smiling knowing is Old O still has it! STC - glad to see those 6 first half TDS are still haunting you. Maybe you should worry a little less about what’s happening in Trojan country and more about how your Tigers went from being atop in sectional 31 to at least the 3rd best team!
  11. Agree with your picks. I’ll call Batesville as the EIAC preseason pick for small school conference champ. I can’t wait to watch Rockin Rods old offense take it to Jr. Buck, Veers, power I, and Wagel’s heading his way! As for the EC vs Lburg game, depends if this pregame speech comes out. If so, Tigers put a 50 spot on the Trojans ;). https://x.com/fox19joe/status/1165117463090143234?s=46&t=ihFaswhyst9hRzLyWT9bZg
  12. This is incorrect… They are 2-2. Losing in 93 (to a great Brickie team) and in 15 (Dwenger).
  13. The real question is whether Hansen is the best RB on the field Friday night? FullSizeRender.MOV Speaking of bad calls….
  14. Unfortunately it happens - great season, great program! Your D did a nice job containing the explosive plays. While the Trojans chunked the yardage they weren’t able to hit the home runs they had all season. Looking forward to the Rebels next week….
  15. Thanks for sharing. “Explosive” might be an understatement when describing #15/#20. They have yet to be stopped this season and outside of #24 for Moeller (who has offer’s everywhere), they have been the best two athletes on the field (yes better than Hansen from Roncalli). EC’s Achilles heel has been turnovers in big games. Look back to the second half of last years regional matchup as it plagued them in that loss as well (the wide open touchdown pass drop in the end zone didn’t help either 🙂 ). Here is my prediction - if East Central runs the ball well (and sticks with the run until it’s stopped) they win by 2-3 TDS. If Memorial is able to stop the run and put them in passing situations (where the majority of our turnovers have happened this year), expect a similar game to last year. Good luck to both teams!
  16. Moeller. Turnovers killed the Trojans. #24 for Moeller will hands down be the best player EC faces all year. Kid is the real deal - excited to follow where he ends up at the next level!
  17. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of this game. Moeller seems to be on another level after dismantling Trinity (who beat both Center Grove and Carmel). Trojans have some playmakers - will be a good test to see where we stack up!
  18. Thanks for the analysis. I have been impressed with the talented skilled players on the Trojan “O”. #20 was able to shine with the injury to #15 and was a blessing in disguise for the EC offense (developing another skilled position this year). At this point, #20 is more dangerous than #15 given what he can do running/receiving. Offensively we can score with anyone in the state. Losing #29 (some rumors floating around ECville is he is considering making an appearance in the game) will really challenge the D. I’m not sure he missed a tackle all year. Hoping we can find an athlete to fill his shoes and keep Memorial O at bay. No predictions - I saw Memorial play in the state the last few years and saw a hard nosed, athletic, and very disciplined team. Should give EC everything we want to handle! Good luck!
  19. Outside of the 70’s, Lawrenceburg football hasn’t been relevant (until a few years ago). I am biased but I don’t think anyone in the SE part of the state looks at them as a “power program”. I know your numbers support it but top two is far fetched IMO. The Lburg HC/AD went after the EC HC job a few years ago for a reason 😂.
  20. Not sure of any breaks last night but they played without one of their best offensive weapons (most of the season). It was a tie game for 3/4 and could have went either way. At the end of they day no one at EC cares about regular season records, rankings, or conference championships. We need to get out of sectionals and the opponent in round two has been our Achilles heel.
  21. Guessing the pre game speech didn’t work again - reminds me of the red rifle for the Bengals!!! Keep recruiting EC wannabes!
  22. EC 27-6 over Lawrenceburg. 10:10 left in 3rd qtr.
