I don’t vote this year (1st time in a long time) but I’m not convinced Avon is the #1 team in 6A. They have been hard to judge in 2 games because their opponents have played sub-par football. Perhaps Avon’s defense had something to do with that? If they are still spotless after week #4 then I will be onboard.

Just the way the cookie crumbles as for my voting Avon #1,  Carmel loses week 1, they fall,  WC drops a close one week 2,  next up  Avon

It should be noted that Warren, Carmel and Brownsburg all lost to out-of-state teams.

Just curious  . . . 

 

Do we say: "We lost one game, but it was to a team from whatever-state."

The team team still has one loss.

I voted them #1 simply because I think they've been the most consistent team thus far. I still think Warren may be the #1 squad, but that will shake itself out later.
