Are you surprised?

Not really, he was back up last year and that is normally how it goes. There was talk of a transfer that came in as QB, case he is back up, whoever that is

Being served a donut on opening night is a humbling welcome to 6a..wc D line is nasty..there was some late turnover on the roster which always seems to happen every few years..I've stated b4..blue rings have been lost with talent on the sidelines n in the stands..ik tippy will put out the best gameplan with who he has suited up..sometimes ur best just isn't enough..4.4 vs. 4.8 can be a gamebreaking difference..too many mistakes n penalties for a team that couldn't move the ball..

I'll have to look up last time Snider got shut out, probably been many moons. It will be interesting to see what the O can do next week. This game and lack of O is likely a result of a really good D from WC. They were rotating and looked 2-3 deep on D. Snider's O line could do nothing. I'm thinking they had 30-40 yards rushing total? The long pass was probably 40-50% of the total yards on O. Really surprised on RB position, looked weak, but again, probably result of WC's D.

I also think it is a case of David vs Goliath.

Id like to see if bart ball puts up points on wc..Snider should be used to David vs Goliath matchups..just didn't have enough Davids..rb is a legacy..didnt see transfer rb..as well as a few other athletes touch the field..hs kids will b kids though

Good luck to Warsaw facing that defensive line.

Snider will be fine. They are going to have an outstanding season. People tend to forget that when two great teams play, there's always going to be a winner and a loser. The Snider D will keep them in games this year while the offense gets better week after week. This season is just getting started.

Wonder why rb2 didn't get any love?  Have always seen a few get touches..

Not sure it would have mattered. This offense is a work in progress..........and they will get better. Their only chance at scoring tonight was to put the ball in the air deep and hope that some of their athletes would come down with it. It almost happened in the first half with Logan coming down with what appeared to be a catch at the 5 yard line. Many fans thought it was a catch, but the Warren defender did cause the ball to touch the ground.

Wc rb was shifty n made a few cuts..speed can be a gr8 equalizer at times..I'll agree it may not have mattered..I know tippy does not show his cards week 1

Ok, great seats for this one and it was the worst offensive performance by a Snider Panthers team in well over a decade. Yes, Warren has an excellent defensive team, probably top 3 in the state, but let’s not sugarcoat how putrid the offensive performance was. QB play was subpar at best, horrid at worst. Missed wide open receivers at least 3 times that would have likely went to the house. RB play was flat out terrible. Put Uriah Buchanan back there and this would have been a Snider win.

While I will acknowledge that good line play is vital to a good running attack, missing holes and not hitting those holes hard just kills a team. Defense played fine, 2 big plays hurt them and were touchdowns. Got 4 turnovers and that should be good enough to win with a competent offense.

The use of Logan had me confused on the offensive side of the ball. Get him the ball on a bubble screen, on a fly pattern, something. Running him 3 straight plays out of the wildcat when everyone in the stadium knew what as coming makes no sense.

Really good play by the defense, very poor play by the offense…

I think at some point you have to acknowledge that Snider had a new offensive line squaring off against arguably the best defensive line ever assembled in Indiana. I don't think you can put tonight's performance on the QB or RB's. I think Snider should have went deep more often utilizing some of their more talented players. The option certainly should have been ditched after the first time it went for a five yard loss. They did it four times all with the same result. That's what edge players going to LSU and Louisville will do to a play like that.

This team is going to be just fine. Gotta shore up special teams though. Two missed field goals, two rough punts that went nowhere, and a roughing the punter. Also bizarre that they had Logan playing so deep on kickoff return. Never gave him a chance.

A 49 yd fg attempt is slightly a stretch for him..😆 maybe 47 n he is good..the transfer portal worked for wc..same could have been said for snider..didnt see their depth chart yet a few names I expected to see never touched the field..two being a rb n qb..Warren rotated skill guys..I was shocked to see Snider appear as if they didn't have any depth..4.4 speed on the sidelines..I digress

Best ever in the state? Hyperbole my friend. There were plays right there for Snider, just poor execution. As good as Warren was on defense, their QB was equally horrid, especially their starter. #17 was better for sure. Offensively, Warren ran the ball better than Snider, but they struggled to move the ball as well. Look, you can say Snider will be fine, but East Noble awaits next week for the Panthers and I see another potential loss for Snider if they have another putrid offensive showing.

Yea, I not going to overreact to this one. The Indy teams are far and above better than what FWA had to offer last night. The Fort football took a beating.

Agree on all accounts.

Give me a defensive line that's better (any year). Louisville and LSU are represented. A junior is the Top 2025 prospect in Indiana. Another kid who is D2. Words like putrid and horrid are a little harsh.

What words would you like used? Bad? Terrible? Awful? Crappy? They all mean the same thing. Not sure any one word would adequately describe the offense last night for Snider. Knowing some of the coaches and plenty of former players who played for those coaches including brothers, friends, and nephews, I guarantee you those words will be used to describe their offensive play last night. I will not be part of the new culture of today and be soft, I will always say exactly what I am seeing.

As far as your statement about the best defensive line ever in Indiana football history, that’s just ridiculous. Asking anyone to try and remember another team with a more stacked defensive line over the last 60 years is a lot. Are they really good? Yes. As you stated yourself, the Panther offensive line is a work in progress and very inexperienced so that helped in making that defensive line look even better than it was. Points will be scored against that defense this year I can assure you. Points should have been scored against that defense last night.

Warren is definitely a top 3 team in the state right now. Will they go undefeated? I highly doubt it. Their offense turned the ball over 4 times last night, starting QB was bad, and big plays are available against that defense. They are definitely one of the favorites to win a state title, but over hyping them to make you feel better about where Snider really is today is not prudent.

Not even sure this Warren defensive line is the best in SCHOOL history.

I could be wrong, but I believe in 2010 they had five D1 guys on the line alone.

Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati and two at Ball State.

The 2024 edition has a long way to go to get named in the same breath in my opinion.

Third and inches on your own 30 in what will be tight game and a swing pass is called. What is that all about, that is some bad paly calling IMO

Plus, EN moving ball on the now overrated Snider D, secondary getting exposed

So I watched the 2nd half of the Snider/East Noble game this morning and I will say the Snider defense was dominant. Think EN maybe got 30 yards total in the 2nd half. Offense was pretty vanilla, but I think that will be Snider this year.
