Warren Township has had its own youth football program for decades now. Not sure if they still have a travel team for the 6th grade group or not. He oversees that program. He directs a program for people interested in coaching in the program, sets team schedules, organizes player selections for each team. I am not sure about other sports, but I imagine it’s a similar thing for them. With the way the title is stated, my guess is he oversees all of it. Quote

WCGrad92 Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 It was once called Tomahawk Youth Football. I guess its just called the Indy Warriors under the Warren Township Football Club name. 1 Quote

I no longer have any family members in the school there, although my brother is there in perpetuity on the Husky Hall of Fame wall as part of the only undefeated football team in the history of the school.(1970) I had children in the school system for all but 5 years between 1982 and 2023. 2000-2005 were the only years I didn't have to pay any student fees. 2 Quote
BDGiant93 Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 I spoke with Coach Kirschner, and he's quite obviously excited about this opportunity of coaching with his son. The "Director of Youth Sports" position did not come up, but I'm assuming...and this is assumption...he's probably retiring at the end of the year (but if you know Mike, that means he's probably going to be busier). 1 Quote

I was surprised not to see the Warren Youth Club not part of the Indiana Elementary Football Association any longer. Only 8 teams last year. The Tomahawks were an excellent program back when my son was playing. https://05d3a59.rcomhost.com/ 3 Quote
