Carmel and Westfield in the same sectional should be interesting. Not saying Carmel is on Westfields level, but the coach they hired sets them off to a good start. New Pal and Cathedral in the same sectional. First round matchup? The blind draw is an absolute utter atrocity.

Carmel and Westfield have been in the same sectional since Westfield moved up to 6A in 2017.

I thought Carmel bounced around from north to south on occasion. Either way, it feels different now with Wright at the helm.

They went back and forth from the late 70s through the early 90s. Other than the 2011-2012 cycle, they haven’t been in the south since 1994.

In 2020 & 21 Carmel's post-season opponenets were some combination of Brownburg, Avon, BD, & Pike...were they all in the north that cycle???

Good catch. I missed that when I looked at their tournament history. Looked it over twice so I’m not sure how I missed it. Then again, my wife is never surprised when I can’t find stuff right in front of me in the refrigerator.

No. Carmel was moved to the south for those two years.
