How do we know Pike will be the 7th best team in the MIC? Hasn't there been a lot of hype surrounding them the past few years?

Color me confused, but aren't there only six teams in the MIC? Pike seems to be trending up. I don't think a 3rd place finish would be far fetched. They could lose to Pike in Week 2 by a touchdown and still be considered a contender.

Yeah, just can’t get over the hump.  Put a scare into quality teams but can never seem to finish the deal consistently.

If I were to compile a preseason poll (and I’m not), I’d have Pike 7th in the MIC.

I refuse to acknowledge the MIC as a 6 team league after adults got their feelings hurt and used the guise of racism to boot out the two schools who were dominating 80% of the sports.

Every MIC title won in every sport has an asterisk next to it in Temp’s book.

I’m telling you man.  If they lose to Pike early, I’ll be insufferable on here.

As much as I want to see them lose to pike, I just don’t see it happening.. I think Merrillville and valpo both would walk through pike with little to no issue. I’d say both win by 10-14 at the lowest. 
 

crown point should win by 21+ but time will tell. Just don’t see pike as a threat

What does pike actually have? I mean you can take the bottom 2-3 teams in the MIC and place them in duneland and I’m not sure they would be blow away winners. On paper all pike has over the 3 is a tougher schedule, but when it comes to talent and coaching I’m gonna go with the other 3

anything less than 14 points in a victory would be an absolute catastrophe for crown point, there is nowhere to climb from this game only fall.

Exactly. Pike isn’t a threat to anything. There are only 4 real threats in 6A 2 in south 2 in north
