Attica @ Tenderloins - not much to say other than after Attica wins 1 the run into a power house of team.  Sanders and company have their way and score as much as they want.  Rp- 63 Attica 0

Little Rubbers @ Seeger -  Covington is coming off a loss in which they feel like they should have won.  They are also starting to get healthy again which could change the way they play.  None of that matters as Seeger will beat them by 50 if not more. Heard there is some bad blood boiling over from last seasons game.

Seeger 77 Cov 21

Little Ponies @ SV - not sure this one will be close at any given time.  Sv has gotten better but not sure they can compete with the Herb and company.  FC will look to get back on track this week with a big win.

FC 42 Sv 12

Woofs @ NV -  I watched the NV play against Attica this past friday. NV only had 13 kids dressed too. The culture Crabtree is building may be starting to stick a little bit. NV has some great players but I think the woofs are just too much. Nothing but praise for Rector and company as they seem to be the dark horse of the conference this year.

Woofs 35 NV 6

Attica @ RP - RP by as much as they want as they continue their dominance. Looking towards the first undefeated season ever in Panther football. I really think this is the best football team the conference has seen since probably the North Vermillion team that won state. Hoping for a big post season run out of the Panthers this year!

Covington @ Seeger - Seeger will win out the rest of the season and possibly mercy rule everyone. Healthy or not Covington won't be able to hang. Seeger wins 52-12

FC @ SV - This game will be closer than what you would think. Rumor is FC is battling the injury bug as well... Maybe that's the reasoning for the butt kicking last week or FC just isn't as good as we thought they were? The Mustangs win this one but it's close for at least a half or maybe three quarters. FC 35 SV 21

PH @ NV - I also heard NV only dressed 13 kids. Crabtree know how to make those kids tough so I'm sure they will be fine. Wolves win big 42-6

The Wolves will move to 5-2 this week and 4-1 in the WRC. They look to face a very tough RP team next week where a win would shake up the WRC standings some

Attica @ RP- Coach Dean got himself another conference win last week. Props to the Ramblers for what they are trying to do up there. Things are going in the right direction they just lack the kids to do what they need to do. RP is rolling everyone as they cruise to their shot at a conference title. Starters will be out by halftime. RP 54 Attica 0

Covington @ Seeger-  Huge win for the Patriots last week over the controversial Hall of Fame coach. I thought going into this one that Herb and his crew would put up more of a fight. Seeger defense won them the game by picking Foxworthy off 3 times. Seeger will roll the rest of the way and look at trying to make it out of their sectional. Covington has shown some bright spots but I don't think it is enough to keep up with the Patriots. Seeger 54 Covington 12

FC @ SV-  Herb will bounce back and get a win this week. His next test will be playing the Woofs. SV is just young and plays a lot of underclassmen. After what the Panthers did to them last week I am not sure if they can bounce back until they play Attica. Injured or not injured FC will beat the young Wildcats. FC 34 SV 13

Woofs @ NV- The Woofs are up there battling it out for second place in the conference. The only test they will have is when they play Herb and his golden mustangs. Crabtree and the Falcons are struggling with numbers. There are plenty of athletes up at NV just not sure why they are not playing football. I did heard that Crabtree sat some of his dudes last week due to discipline reasons. Hats off to him for doing the right thing win or lose. I think NV will put up a fight but it just won't be enough. Woofs 35 NV 6

Attica @ RP - Riverton will mercy rule the rest of their schedule and rest up for the sectional.

Covington @ Seeger - If Seeger plays as well as they did last week I think they can beat just about anybody. Seeger is playing good football and that will continue this week. I could see if being close for a little bit if the Covington qb is back. Seeger wins by 4 scores

FC @ SV - Herb is going through it right now. He can't keep his team healthy but they keep fighting. Foxworthy is out again which is a huge loss. I know Herb will figure it out. I don't see FC losing another game the next three weeks. FC by 3 scores

PH @ NV - Should be a good game. Both teams will play hard until the end of the game

This Panther team is better coached, and much more physical/athletic than that NV team. RP would've beaten them by 2 scores.

The NV team I could agree with. I would put this years RP team up there with the 04 Seeger team and the 07 Rockville team.

'07 Rockville because Herb is your kin? They weren't better than the '18 NV team

07 Rockville team is a top three in the WRC ever. No debate.

Attica vs RP - I read RP hasn't played with their two starting RB's all season and playing with backups at those spots.  Confirmed?   If so, that's an impressive RB factory they've got in southern Parke County.  I'm cheering for Attica in this game to play spoiler and keep it close.  Not likely.  Give me the Panthers to clock the Ramblers at some point in the game.  48-12

Covington vs Seeger - I wanted to believe in Covington and predicted a win over PH last week.  Wrong again.  Seeger is the second-best team in the conference and proves it again this week.   42-14

FC vs SV - Hey, I'm not saying data is everything, but the stats said the Herb led FC team was going to lose to a team with a winning record, and they lost.   They'll get back on track with a win over a young SV team that took a beating from RP.   30-12

PH vs NV - PH most likely secured a regular season winning record with their win over Covington last week.  Great job by Coach Rector to right the ship in Rockville.  Maybe this will quiet The King to PH rumors starting to swirl. (I can confirm my sources).   PH wins another one before their tough season-ending games with RP and FC.   42-7

Herb could've gone back there when they consolidated. No way he goes back now.

Attica @ The Tenderloins

Once Again, I think Coach Dean is doing great things at Attica. Give them a year or 2 and they will be a well ran team. Stick around Coach Dean. Tenderloins may give south Puts a run for their money. Tenderloins should go ahead and start prepping for South Puts. RP by however many they want.

Little Rubbers @ Seegers

Not much to stay. The rubbers win games they are supposed to. If they want to be competitive again, why are they playing South Newton and Tri County. Beef up the schedule to give you an actual chance of competing late into the season for a chance to contend for the conference. If they don’t, they will continue to get their fans hopes up by winning games they’re supposed to and then losing the important games. Give me the Patriots by 70

Little Ponies @ South Vermilions

FC is playing well. SV is too young. FC 27-12

The Woofs @ North Vermilions

Parke Heritage is coming off their biggest win in the Rector Era in my opinion. North Vermillion’s has talent, no question there. Unfortunately for them, the cards they were dealt didn’t play out well. I can see them make a strong push at the end here but I don’t think it’ll be enough to beat the Woofs who are playing the best football that they have seen in 4 years. Woofs 42-6

To clarify, PH was going to take The King over B Moore, Herb declined and B. Moore was their 2nd choice?

Of course not. Brian Moore was being pursued for the job before the 2017 football season was over while he was still an assistant coach at Fountain Central. Coincidentally, the Fountain Central job also came open after the 2017 season and Moore chose the Wolfs over his alma mater. This fateful decision allowed him to become the only person ever to win Sectional Championships as the head coach of three different WRC schools, cementing his legacy as the best coach in the history of the Wabash River Conference.

Brian Moore was pulled over for speeding recently. He let the police officer off with a warning.

The dinosaurs looked at Brian Moore the wrong way once....only once.

What is Moore's record against Crabtree? Asking for a friend..

But NOBODY has turned a program around like Sanders has at RP

Lucy doesn't know what she's taking about. I have a very reliable source that stated the job was Herb's if he wanted it. I'm old enough to be your dad probably

Moore is 2-7 vs Crabtree.  Both wins coming from his time at PH.

And yes, kudos to Sanders at RP.  They've went from everyone's homecoming to 50+ on the roster and consistently winning games at all levels.

Maybe it's just me and my youth that's able to point and click and find data to prove a point.  The King is 45-54 in his last 99 games in 10 seasons at FC and Seeger,, 4.5 wins per year.   That's a .454 winning percentage.   The previous schools from the same time frame (4 years at FC and 6 at Seeger) had a combined record of 35-63 in 10 total seasons prior to The King.   That's a winning percentage of .357 or 3.5 wins per year.   The Prince is right.   When the King takes over a "bad" program, he does get them moving in the right directions and averages 1 more win per year over a 10-year period.

Comparably, Coach Sanders took over an RP program that won FOUR games in six years.  Since then, he's averaged over 5 wins per year and 8 wins in three of the last four.   Continuing, Brian Moore took over a PH program that combined two of the worst (by recent history) schools in the state.  Together, Rockville and Turkey Run avg 3 wins per year in the six prior.  Moore started the PH program and averaged 8+ wins per year during his four years.    Additionally, let's look at Crabtree - the six years prior to him taking over NV, they averaged 5 wins per year.  The next six years, he averaged 10+ wins per year and a state title.

Stats don't lie and they don't have feelings.  And luckily I've just old enough I can pay for the internet to research any and all claims.
