No one would be, for instances like last week cancellation or whatever led to the cancellation in, what did you say, 08? Weren’t you still playing back l 08?

Yes I was the QB at Brownstown. I think we're on the same page. Happy for how well the Panthers played last night. Coach Humphrey is an incredible guy.

Yea, great dude! Outside of that first drive when Paoli had a nice play that Corydon played wrong the defense looked incredible. That Paoli score was followed by 2 Corydon fumbles then, everything clicked.

Im not saying CC would have beat Brownstown but it’s really unfortunate that we didn’t have that measuring stick. But that’s in the past. It’s Cougar week!! 😉

JV West Washington beat Clarksville 16-6.

Thank you to West Washington for traveling to Clarksville.

It was a good physical JV football game. Our kids had fun and the sportsmanship shown between the players was great. It was a longer bus ride than normal for a JV game, but the kids were just thrilled to play.

In what is shaping up to be a barn burner WW leads SV 30-14. Still 8 min to go in 2nd. Valley killing them when they throw the ball. Gotta adjust or may need 80 to win.

WW wins 60-20. 3 100 yard rushers. Probably close to 500 yds rushing total. Defense did struggle alot in secondary giving up close to 300 yds in air (if not over). Love the win tho. Also going to love watching Kenton Chase (FR) next few years. He looks like he's going to be alot of fun!!

Congrats to Salem on the win over Brownstown. Since 2006, Brownstown has lost to Charlestown 4 times in the regular season. The only other teams to beat them during the regular season in conference play are North Harrison (2017), Corydon (2009) and Clarksville (2006). Salem last beat Brownstown in 2005. The only other teams to beat them since 1994 are Clarksville (94, 98) and Salem (94). Just an unbelievable run for BC. I have no doubt it will continue to be strong. But hats off to Coach Thompson and the Lions.

Did Paoli still have all those kids in quarantine or were they cleared to play?

Week 6

Charlestown at Scottsburg

Eastern at North Harrison

Salem at Corydon

Seymour at Brownstown

Silver Creek at Clarksville

Shortridge at Paoli

Mitchell at Madison

Perry Central at Eastern

West Washington at North Central

Salem/Corydon looks like the game of the week. It's a tough call. Both are playing well. I'll give Salem the nod after a nice streak beating Brownstown then hammering Clarksville.
