Watched the Roncalli EC game twice.  EC announcers talked about how turnovers have been a problem even in games where they thumped teams.  Were a big problem in that game.

Has EC has played a running clock in all game but two lossses?

No idea, but it does look like they have multiple 35+ margin wins

Looks like those are the only 2, however, does Ohio has a running Clock? Since EC beat Harrison (Ohio), 41-6 there

Yes Ohio has a running clock when you reach a certain margin. However unlike Indiana if score drops back below that margin it reverts back to regular clock.

"1.64) Point Differential/Running Clock: After the first half of regular season 7th-8th grade, sub-varsity and varsity contests, any time the score differential reaches 30 points or more, a running clock shall be used. After the 30-point differential has been met but the score drops below 30 points, the clock reverts to regular timing."

Sectional Championship Recap

1 play, 1 TD, that is how East Central started their game against Martinsville, not even 2 minutes in the game, as the Trojans ran into the EZ. And after that RB Ringer TD, the Trojans were full steam ahead in the 1st half of the game. As East Central would score again around the 6:20 minute mark in the 1Q, by guess who? RB Ringer with his 2nd TD of the night to make it 14-0 East Central. And then a quick defensive stop later, East Central would score again by RB Ringer to make it 20-0 EC in just the 1st quarter alone. And not even a minute later, the Trojans would force a punt to get the ball back. And 2 plays later, QB Burton threw to his big receiver in Brotherton for 43 yards to the house to make it 27-0 EC all in the 1st Quarter. After forcing a turnover on downs, EC had the ball and drove straight down for another Ringer score, his 3rd TD of the night to make it 34-0 EC at the start of the 2nd Quarter. After forcing another turnover on downs, and facing a 1st and 10 on their own 30, QB Burton threw it deep to set up EC perfectly outside the RZ. Next play? Another Brotherton TD from 28 yards out to make it 40-0 EC with 6:37 left in the 1st half. After forcing another punt, EC would top it with a 60-yard TD by Ringer for his 5th of the night to make it 47-0 at the Half, which would be the final of the game. RB Ringer would finish the game with 5 TDs and 208 rushing yards all in the 1st half. WR/RB Brotheron would finish with 170 total yards and 2 TDs on the night. And of course, that East Central defense was all over Martinsville too, as they only allowed 129 total yards, 6 first downs, and 0 points. The Trojans will now roughly travel again for 4.5 hours to face Memorial in another Regional matchup in Enlow on Friday night as heavy favorites. But if you remember correctly, Memorial would eventually win the game on a walk-off FG ending the Trojan’s season in 2021. New team, new year, as the Trojans hope to seek revenge against the Tigers in a Regional Classic.

About the only thing I would describe as potentially being a weakness for EC is the kicking game. The big question is whether Memorial can keep the game close enough for it to ever matter.

By the way, EC Trojan Media does a really nice job with their livestream broadcasts.

I like to watch those guys.  Enough pulling for EC to let you know they care and are excited, but very complimentary toward their opponents.

Is the guy who got tossed in the Boonville game playing this week?

No, the SRN guys confirmed it was an ejection, so he won’t play until SS if Memorial somehow gets by EC
