  1. Past hour
  2. I think with Jaylon running the show, the legends will make smarter offensive decisions. Them being unable to win the field position battle really put them in unfortunate situations. There is no way they an egg against New Haven…..right?
  3. Let's move on from legal accusations regarding minors who are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Instead, this conversation should focus on the football repercussions and expectations for the coaching change. We are walking a fine line even though this has been widely reported.
  4. Yes, I have heard lots of things over the last 15/16 hours from people I would deem very reliable sources on what's going on, but again until things are officially reported on, this forum isn't the place to put those out. But again I'm more interested in how FWCS will be handling this from not only a PR standpoint, but also the puzzling timeline.
  5. My mama said this guys been swallowing a bunch of that squirrel guys nuts!
  6. Brownsburg will have its hands full this week with Rabun Gap-Nachoochee, who played a very good Venice (FL) team to the wire last week on the road before losing (42-40). That will be my first game of the weekend, followed by the double-header at Gibson Southern. I really like the Michigan City facility.
  7. Before people go crazy with what 23 just said. He is refering to this student situation and the responsibilities of adults surrounding it. The investigations are revealing many things inside of North Side. https://www.wane.com/top-stories/teenager-charged-as-an-adult-in-2-separate-rape-cases/
  8. https://substack.com/@nymag/note/c-321482953 The actual story is behind a paywall, so read it if you want to pay the price.
  9. Attica @ Tri County - What a game this will be. I don't think Attica is as bad as Tri County but it will be a close game. 28-20 Covington @ Englewood - I'm guessing this is the only team that Covington could find with an opening. Covington's QB is pretty tough. I saw he accounted for 5 TDs last week and I see him doing the same this week. The Trojans score and win by as many as they want. FC @ Cville - Southmont is down this year. Cville ran all over PH and they will do the same to FC. Paris @ NV - Cloverdale has the injury bug. NV's offense couldn't move the ball last week. I see the same issues again this week. Paris is a tough non conference matchup. 42-12 Paris Seeger @ BC - GAME OF THE WEEK! - Look for the Bison to bounce back this week. IF BC's TE could've played last week it would have been a different story. They moved the ball but bad errors and mistakes killed a lot of their drives. I'm not sold on Seeger yet. This will be one of their toughest opponents they face all year. I see Coach King getting a little revenge this week. BC 28-21 SV @ Sullivan - Sullivan will flex their muscles and ground and pound SV. Sullivan will be the much more physical team. The RB #3 is the real deal for them. SV did surprise me by how many points they were able to score on WV but Sullivan is much better. Sullivan 35-14 West Vigo @ PH - This will be a good game. West Vigo got things rolling a little too late last week. I look for Crabtree's squad to come out rolling this week. This one will come down to the last position. WV wins 28-21 RP @ Tri - Two very similar offenses and mindsets. Both are going to run the ball 40 times. This game might be over before 8:30. Even if Linton was missing a couple of keys players it is still a massive win RP. They will keep it rolling this week and win big. RP 60-7
  10. Right now the rape accusations are factual, backed up by reliable news sources. The influx of athletes at North Side and Northrop is just speculation at the moment. I'm sure it will all come to light.
  11. I know they have some players getting DII, DIII, & NAIA looks. Just not aware of anymore D1 offers.
  12. Today
  13. We had over 70 points scored, luckily our U is in good shape compared to a lot of the big boys in the middle. I'm not crazy about the wings having to cover 100 yards on kickoffs and having the U run onto the field when the action could be coming straight for him. We realized the same with the potential penalty on a FG attempt, it makes a lot more sense for R to spot the ball.
  14. I am very curious to see if FWCS ever comes out and says the true reason behind this, and why the timing of it (Doubtful). All in all, bad look for the district, school, program. Feel bad for the students/teachers/and staff who will now have to deal with all the fallout
  15. Congrats @gonzoron on the enormity of your success. Week 2 matchups will come out after the polls have been released.
  16. Clinton Central Bulldogs. They just beat a "4A" school after all. That has to count for something, right?
  17. I agree with you in a perfect world. But if the question is 8-man football vs. no football, I'll choose 8-man. And that seems to be the question these schools have answered. I also agree that the IFCA and IHSAA should permit co-oping. Let the market of ideas win the day.

  20. Because traditional 11-man tackle football is the superior form of the game. And does the IHSAA really want to start sanctioning state tournaments in two different "flavors" of tackle football? No, 8-man football ultimately waters down the entire game, another race to mediocrity.
  21. TGD 4A-6A Poll - Week 1 1. Brownsburg (1-0) 69 (6) 2. Westfield (1-0) 54 3. Carmel (1-0) 53 (1) 4. Warren Central (1-0) 49 5. New Palestine (1-0) 39 6. Fort Wayne Carroll (1-0) 34 7. 22. Went to state for shot put last spring. EN allowed him to rest throughout the game..I digress. I was also unaware of the other D1 guys..
  23. Replace a lot but still have 15 seniors this year that went undefeated in JV for a few years. They also played the 2nd half in most varsity games last year. I’ve watched some CT film and I believe the Braves will be alright….😉
  24. North Putnam North Knox North Daviess Castle Hopefully Harrell gets his predictions going so we can use spread
  25. Just curious. Who are the others with D1 offers? I'm just seeing Austin Phillips.
