Is that with or without Carmel? And ten years is a tough bet, who will be their coach in ten years? With the right coaching staff, CG could be in a world of trouble against Ben Davis.
We really doing this with Heritage Hills? I'll give them #8 if they return 10 on offense and 10 on defense. Eight on both sides of the ball drops them #15. Six on both sides puts them at 18-22. Sorry, but the big schools at that top are brutal, not much room for a 3A enrollment team, or even 4A for that matter.
Indiana is very fortunate to have 4 or 5 NFL officials, a dozen D1 officials (B1G, B12, MAC, MVFC, OVC), a dozen D2 officials and a couple dozen D3/NAIA officials. Several of them may be members of this group, but I wouldn't know any by their handle. I have some suspicions though.
I'm going to do a Conference Indiana preview (last hoorah) once practices start on Monday. Bloomington South should be a stronger team, at least on paper, than their last two semi-state teams against Decatur Central. They have nine starters back on defense, and what appears to be a strong offense with some move-ins added to that. They have one of the better backfields on offense in the state with 6'6 Jr QB Duncan Combs and Sr RB Braylen Townsend, but they have a couple of question marks along the o-line. I have some added information on South that I will include in my preseason CI post. You just keep your fingers crossed on potential key injuries.
With what Elkhart has returning and the D1 transfers coming in this could be the year for a long run in the playoffs which is something Elkhart has never had.
A lot of college recruiting attention. Hearing their junior linebacker is getting SEC looks.
