Saw that IU season tickets sold out the first day they became available to new purchasers. Added a $350 seat license this year. Pretty incredible stuff happening in Bloomington (if you ignore the basketball program)...
Why is paying the Tax for the ticket ok for this GenCon but paying tax for anything else BAD ?
maybe because it fits your personal interest and you are willing to pay whatever fee/tax there was to attend this event because that money was not going to deter your choice of entertainment.
That is your personal choice of the principled life you live. Yet, judgment falls onto others who have valued their personal choice of what they are comfortable with in the realm of taxable transactions for entertainment purposes.
USC has found a replacement for Notre Dame, after deserting one of the great rivalries in college football. They will play San Jose St. Last season the Spartans ranked #144 in Sagarin’s final rankings after finishing 3-9. In the last 5 seasons the Spartans are 29-33, and are members of the Mountain West Conference.
Since it’s USC, my expectations were low to begin with. But still, the Trojans managed to fall short.
Thank you.
Regarding food trucks I hope those selling a good BPT accept cash, but just in case I'll bring enough food from home. It's called being prepared. I use a debit/credit card only as a last resort for POS transactions like at a restaurant or grocery store. I used a credit card to purchase my GenCon ticket, but did not pay the exorbitant extra fee to have the ticket mailed to my home. So on the day I attend I'll get the ticket from the Will Call booth.
