I agree with each of these as well. Works well for FCS, D2, D3, and NAIA. Plus they can be done before the NFL Playoffs start instead of competing for attention. It also reduces the number of players who feel pressured to opt out in order to transfer before the new semester starts.2 points

They have essentially the same enrollment as Chatard and just won a State Championship. New Pal being a mid 4A in enrollment school, I wouldn't call that a "much much smaller school"2 points

one of the main factors of injury prevention is weight training and conditioning. New Pal in that department stands tall in the state.1 point

I hate to see Merrillville and Valpo up in 6A. Two very good programs that don't have a realistic chance to win that class. Maybe a chance for Merrillville, but it's less than 10%. 5A North is embarrassingly watered down, especially if North Side drops to 4A. That really just leaves Snider and Warsaw, neither of which were very good last year. Concord?1 point

Mental health issues are very real, and getting access to mental healthcare is near impossible, short of getting the police involved and who really wants to go down that path for a loved one?1 point
