Brownsburg is a very good team , maybe the best in Indiana . I don't see them beating St X if X had a game under there belt like Brownsburg did .I wouldn't call it a ST X choke job , I would call it 1st game mistakes . Teams improve the most between games 1 and 2 . Was very impressed with Brownsburg though .

Not much to say , I expect a beat down 45-10 Cathedral . I hope I'm wrong . Cathedral in my opinion is the best team in 5A , and top 4 in 6A .

I don't think it was any one thing for Penn . But these few things add to it . Penn's stud Sophmore(2017) QB commits to play baseball at Notre Dame and quits playing football . IMO , he would of been one of Penn's best . OL Tate Johnson moves to Georgia (Committed to Auburn). 9 Players on Edwardsburg , MI State Championship team (2018) went to either Elementary or middle school in the Penn District. Families moving a couple miles north for the small school experience . Add in the injuries to key players last year , and it steamrolls . Just losing 2 D1 type players off a team (especially QB) can have a major impact .

Yes , and every Coach I know has integrity . They wouldn't get on a public forum and say a Team A is going to BURY team B .

I'm going with the Irish in this one , and to win 5A. The 3 Ohio games and Trinity make them the most battle ready .

What Naysayers ? I haven't seen one person say that NP would lose this game . Let's be honest here , NP has only played 3 descent teams this year (Penn , Mish , EC)and are 2-1 against them . Penn has the worst team in 40 years and an injured starting QB(Good Win) . So if NP fans want to chest thump over that win , that's fine . NP barely beat Mish (Good Win ) and lost to EC . Plymouth 9-2 is in the same category this year as the previous 3 mentioned . You didn't blow out any of the 3 mentioned , so why are you blowing Plymouth out ?

I see you've back peddled a bit . Earlier in the thread you predicted a 28 point NP win .

I’m a realist , I look at Plymouth’s entire body of work this season. Not just 1-2 bad games. Will Plymouth beat NP? It’s possible but not probable. I do think it will be a good game.

Another side note, #2 (4A) East Noble barely beat Plymouth. East Noble beat Mishawaka by more points.

Former Coach You have Penn Beating Warsaw by one point . Plymouth beat Warsaw by more than that . That might suggest Penn and Plymouth could be comparable . What was the Penn vs New Prarie score ?

I would say yes , as Plymouth has already beaten 6A Warsaw this year . Pretty much the same unique offense new Prairie runs .

Wrong , St joe scored 1 TD in the 4th quarter , get your facts straight .

I might also add that #6(5A) Concord lost to Plymouth . Concord barely lost to EC last friday . Like stated before , Plymouth is better than you think . I think NP wins , but much closer than a few NP think .

Plymouth beat St Joe by 16 Mishawaka beat St Joe by 21 I don't see a big difference here .

Bart Curtis is 4-10 vs Penn , 4-9 at Mishawaka and 0-1 at Warsaw . 4 times

Think Plymouth is a little better than your giving them credit for . I would put Mish , Elkhart Central , Concord and Plymouth as all being pretty equal .

This will have nothing to do with Friday's outcome , but Bart Curtis is 0-8 the last 8 meetings with Penn . Knowing how to beat Penn and actually doing it Must be two different things .

Valpo is currently #2 in 5A and could be top 5 regardless of class. They are much improved over last years team that lost to Carmel 14-10. Merrillville barely losing to Valpo this year tells me the pirates are pretty good.
