    They may not have the names like Samardzija or Handlon , but they are big,physical and well coached . I saw them the first game of the year and they looked polished . Like they have been playing together for a long time . They played like it was their 7th or 8th game of the year .

    I give Zionsville no chance , It's hard to gauge Snider . They have one quality win (Homestead). They narrowly escaped a team that is 1-5 and their other wins were against teams 1-5 records . I would say anything can happen in the playoffs , but I Think Valpo will be playing Cathedral . This Valpo team looks as good as the Jeff Samardzija teams .

    I would be shocked if Valpo isn't at LOS playing Cathedral .

    Probably the best game in the state this week . On paper Merrillville looks to be the better team . My gut tells me Valpo at home . Should be a good one whoever wins .

    Chatard by 14-21. Chatard will be by far the best team Marian has faced this year.

    You don’t really have control over getting players out. You do have control over developing players, getting players to Buy In if you will. You have control over running the same system for 40 years. What worked in the late 80’s and 90’s clearly isn’t working today.

    I would say some. Penn would of been a much better team with Lynch at Qb. But Penn’s problems start at the top.

    Penn has been going backwards for the last few years. There is no excuse. The changes need to start at the top.

    I knew it would be our last game. Absolutely terrible, a change needs to happen at Penn.

    I would agree . I remember back in 2015 , CG fans were saying that team was the best CG team ever . This years team (up to this point) appears better . The only downside is that 6A as a whole is down this year compared to Normal . So I do expect Cathedral to be the only team that gives CG a test this year .

    Don't know if they are the best all time , but I am very impressed at what they do for a public school of 2500 students.

    Petty arguments yes . I only questioned your 28 point prediction .Elkhart's Sagarin rating was only slightly higher than Penn's. Penn's SOS is higher than Elkhart's . SOS most always offsets a slight overall ranking, making both teams about even , with Elkhart having more athletes .

    I like it , after all it is only a high school board . Might want to include Sagarin , he is usually more accurate than your average witch.

    Don't feel Inferior , I don't give predictions on the entire NIC games because I don't know enough about each team to make accurate predictions . If I were to do all the NIC games , I would be guessing . Judging by Turf Toes week 5 Predictions vs Outcomes , that is exactly what he does . If your going to guess the games , don't get charminized when someone questions your prediction . LMAO

    The Elkhart coaches and players all say the transition between Memorial and Central was seamless , but yet you somehow think you know different . There are no teams in Sectional 2 ranked in to top 15 in 6A . So if Elkhart does win ,what does that prove ? By looking at some of your posts and knowledge of teams in general , I started wondering what your age was . I bet your answer would explain a lot .

    So East Noble with no athletes puts up more points than Elkhart. Very close game just like I knew it would be . Turf Toe, Is Penn better than high 4A-low 5A or Is Elkhart way over ranked in 6A ? Waiting for your response.

    Not trying to argue with you, if your right, I will tell you so. I guess my point was that Although way down, Penn has played 2 teams that were in LOS last year and one that will be there and win this year. Should be a good game, hope to talk with you Saturday.

    I guess you can be ranked #3 in 4A with no athletes???? Didn’t East Noble play in LOS recently with no athletes? If Elkhart beats Penn by 28, I will be the first to get on here and say your the man. But if it’s a close game, what will you say?

    Even though Penn is way down the past few years, and haven’t really been relevant in 6A since 2015. I still don’t see Elkhart winning by 28 like Turf Toe thinks. Didn’t Elkhart barely beat Mishawaka? I think Elkhart will win , but by 7-14 .

    We have nothing for 6A this year . Got crushed by Cathedral and Barely beat #3 4A East Noble . We will be lucky to win a Sectional game .

    Congrats to Cathedral on the lopsided win , they have quite the team this year . Penn had no answer . I think Cathedral has the talent to beat all 3 Ohio teams .

    Would not be surprised if Central won it again this year. They have some very talented athletes.
