Went to see Brownsburg at Center Grove last night.

Carmel and Westfield will start playing each other in week 2 in 2024. 2024 game is at Westfield, and 2025 game is at Carmel.

Center Grove needs an opponent for week 2, but then I saw that Michigan and Indiana have different start dates and different dates for week 2 so nevermind. Tried to delete this post but couldn't.

The most notable national result has to be St. John Bosco beating national #1 Mater Dei 24-22 in the California High School Playoffs. This game has become the best rivalry in the entire country in high school football. Was looking forward to a Moeller-St. Edward rematch in the Ohio Division 1 State Finals but Springfield spoiled those plans and beat Moeller 28-24. Fully expect St. Edward to beat Springfield comfortably in the state championship game and repeat as state champions next week.

I think I owe Bill Marshall and Travis Davis Christmas cards. 😂

East Central Whiteland Center Grove Lutheran Chatard Andrean

The biggest difference why Center Grove was able to beat Cathedral in the tournament and Brownsburg couldn't: Physical and mental toughness, especially the mental toughness. It's embedded in Center Grove's culture, all the way down to the bantam leagues. It's why Center Grove is about to 3-peat and why Brownsburg will never reach the state finals as long as John Hart is their head coach. Hats off to Eric Moore and the Center Grove program. They've earned the right to be the favorite in the 6A tournament every year until somebody finally beats them.

This game is going to come down to how well Center Grove can run the ball against Cathedral's defense, which will allow Center Grove to control the time of possession and keep the ball out of Danny O'Neil's hands. Feels like this game could be destined for overtime.

HSE wins this game by at least 3 touchdowns.
