  1. Found it.... yep... purdue had 23 at game time w light wind.... an yes! ... It can drop alot up der an b very windy off the lake.... that game has to b the record!!!
  2. I had to look that one up.... Purdue Airport records around 32 33 for Fridays the 14th 21st 1975 w light wind... the ball is a rock at those Temps for sure.... perhaps Herman also walked 2 miles barefoot thru 3 ft of snow to get to the game? 😊
  3. Oct 31 2014 Purdue Airport recorded game time temp of 33 N wind 10mp Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Game time Fri Nov 12 1976 23 with a NNW wind at 8mph. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  4. Sagarin has Pioneer as 2pt favorites over #1 Andrean. This happens in 4A as well, wher the lower rated team is favored to win over the #1 ranked team...... interesting......
  5. https://sportstothemax.net/uncategorized/breyfogle-name-defensive-coordinator-at-lafayette-central-catholic/
  6. Hopefully the Knights hav used up their covid time off..... the surging Warriors r flying high... lcc has yet to put it together.... gonna need a good game this week if they want to return to LaRocca 4 semi.....
  7. Harrels was briefly showing otherwise... got it...the bracket is the bracket.. dosent matter if the game is played or not..... that puts Lcc at LaRocca for Reg vrs the BJs and on the road vrs the Warriors...... the Knights do get 2 wks to prepare...but hav lost another game played... hard to get traction as foxbat said.... did Clinton Central really hav 6 TOs... an lcc scored ... what was it ... 28pts .... a Reg win looks to b a stretch for the young knights ..... thou virtually all of 1A will b rooting for em to win jus one more game...
  8. Harrels was showing NJ @ Winamac. Because, Winamac hadn't played a hm game? Harrels now shows Winamac @ NJ. So, in determining hm games, per the rule, dose a non game played ie. SN @ Winamac, still count as a hm game played for Winamac? Hmmmm... anyone?
  9. I wouldn't mind cing lcc in 2A... seems a bit of a stretch for em to get past NJ on the road this yr... if they even get that far... the BJs could get upset by the Warriors ... but the set up isn't quite right for that to happen wo alot of help from the BJs... as it stands ... I think that would put Lcc on the sacred soil of LaRocca field for semi state.... believe it when I c it....
  10. NJ is on upset alert ... in the sec 41 final ........ The Covids hav given the Warriors hm field and 2 weeks to prepare for the rematch...... they will still need the BJs to assist in their own demise... could also get caught looking ahead to a potential Reg hm game w Lcc if the Knights r fortunate enuff to advance....
  11. The Southwood model ...of having the ability for rapid covid testing of ur roster appears to b a way to go forward.
  12. U jus never know.... they certainly don't hav to worry bout looking ahead .... as the ole saying goes.... its literally .... one game at a time for the Knights. I wouldn't say any game is a lock for em ... its buck up or get bucked out time for them....
  13. Covid aside .... The north appears to favor a repete of last yr, with the same 4 meeting again in the regionals .... w the NJ Lcc winner taking on whoever wins the battle of Adams Co. for the right to meet the favored Lutherns at LOS. With AC upsetting SA last yr.... hard to say who comes out... Sag ratings say SA > AC ... NJ > Lcc ..... SA > NJ so mabe its Lcc's yr to knocked out... seems likely enuff ..... hmmmm
  14. Maybe you should rethink calling yourself .... TheStatGuy
  15. Thout it interesting to bring this up as it relates to the SF. Is a pattern forming? Recently its been NPal EM Pioneer off the top of my head, other publics? cycling up. Now it looks like Cath, Chatard, Andearn? LCC? Luthern MAY cycle up. Will the point threshold get lowered again to stay up? Will we c the same groups of Publics and PPs cycling as cohorts? R ther enuff data points yet for the men of science to come to any conclusions? To me... it feels as if a pattern is begining to emerge. Hmmmmm........
  16. 6a No PPs 5a Cathedral 4a Roncoli 3a Chatard 2a Andrean 1a Luthern
  17. I'm more concerned with Lcc's lack of quality reps ... as Tri West, Guerin, Rensey cancelled... Tipton half strenght.. then bowing out in the post season due to covid. Either way.. its alot to overcome for the Knights.... not sure they're up to it..... Agree.. overall.... the Lutherns r in the drivers seat at this point.... in the north... its SA..
