    I think any smaller job opening would be good for a first time HC, but this one may not just because of the history behind the program and expectations that may come with the job.

    Think what you will. I am not jealous of Mr. Painter nor anyone mentioned on this list. I will not apologize about not being a fan of his.

    So you are saying that I can't be a fan of a player? I am not knocking his ability to play I just wasn't a fan of his stemming back to Purdue.

    I don't see this job being opened for long. Jimtown is one of those historic programs that I am sure coaches are chomping at the bit to get that job.

    To be fair do we not understand a joke. Wasn't trying to push any buttons with this. Yes he did play more seasons than I did... but so did my brother and I hear people talk negative of him as well.

    Awesome thank you for this. I never said he wasn't deserving of the honor, and this proves it. You don't see a lot of 2A QB's putting up numbers like this.

    I was just asking a question. Because I actually want to know. It was not an attack on him... winning two titles that's hard at any class and good for him being selected on this honor. I still want to know how the numbers match up.

    What were his season and career numbers? We they on par with what those other two QB's did?

    To be fair at this point do we really as a state claim Curtis Painter. I know he had a solid career at Purdue, but it is still really hard to think about that year with the Colts.

    Also had Jack Kizer lol... but really Berry has done a great job and continued the success that Johnson started at that program.

    Oh yeah I forgot that Eastern's Josiah Price had a small stint with the Vikings before a knee injury. And I forget his name, but he went to Carroll High School and he is currently with the Vikings.

    He is currently on the Panthers IR but Lewis Cass Grad Kitt O'Brien.

    After watching the Freshman year that he had a Purdue I agree that Bell could have won it as well. I just watched Spegal's highlights and just wow.

    I get the small school argument, but Jack Kiser would have been a stud at any school. That's where the argument is lost on me.

    I feel dumb for asking, but is Mike Otto even in the Miami County area?

    As of right now it's the next two years both games being played at Kokomo.

    Anything coming up from the younger classes to get excited about? Or is there going to be a major drop off?

    You beat me too it. I was at the Red for Ed day downtown and this was a big topic of conversation for down there.

    No I understand what you are doing I just can't believe there are those using this topic to take shots that have nothing to do with this topic.

    I am wondering if it was the Hot take of all Hot takes that I saw . If so wow.

    This firing came from above the school. Brebuf was given the same choice and they chose the staff member over the church. So I wouldn't throw that type of blame out yet.

    In all honesty situations like this one are very much outliers in football. Most hazing does not take place and if it does it is because the culture of the program allows it. If you family is playing at LCC then I don't think you have much to worry about that program has been top notch for years.

    I feel like the school or the Archdiocese should get out in front before the IHSAA gets involved. Again this is super sad, but Roncalli and the Archdiocese need to show that they have the needs of their students front in center after this issue. As a teacher myself this bothers me to my core.
