Honestly the Tippecanoe County government school corporation needs to downsize to just one mega-sized 9-12 high school. Consolidate Harrison and McCutcheon into one school and voila! you have the makings of a 6A athletic powerhouse to challenge the Marion/donut counties hegemony.

Yes. First I read that p/p schools will pretty much accept any individual with a pulse and $ because, you know, those Benjamins pay the bills and keep the lights on. Then I read something quite different. Which one is it?? Can an avowed Muslim attend a Catholic or Christian school because he believes it offers a superior education compared to the public schools?

That may work until the football crazy administration decides to dissolve the extracurricular chess club because the 10 or so members would bump the largest 3A football school to now the smallest 4A school.

So the answer to my question is "no". Have to keep the environment of these schools as close to the concept of Christian Homogeneity as possible. Got it. Thank you.

So the IHSAA trying to make the football tournament "fair" by using a simplistic enrollment-based classification system then bolting on a "success factor" to try and make it "more fair" is a non-starter. Only a true system of promotion and relegation will fix it.

Wrong. Sagamore conference rival Lebanon is a true 4A school. Didn't play in the regular season due to covid, but met in the first round of the sectional where Frankfort got blanked 29-0. The last time the Hot Dogs defeated the Tigers during the regular season was 2007.
