    What is to stop the p/p schools from forming their own athletic association, then trying to lure other non-p/p schools to join it? After all isn't the IHSAA a de-facto Indiana monopoly when it comes to high school athletic associations? Perhaps some competition would do it some good.

    Possibly. But then again the IHSAA is a private, not a government, organization. Membership in the association is entirely voluntary.

    Sure, if they can also draft/trade/sign a top flight quarterback and decent offensive line. I believe they need more quality Jimmy and Joes on the offensive side of the ball than they do a head coach.

    Yeah, with the advent of open enrollment CP has been poaching students from it's main rival, Clinton Central. The last I heard CC's 9-12 enrollment is now considerably less, around 270, where the two schools used to have a roughly equivalent enrollment.

    Good to hear from you again RebelDad. And again for the record I do not support a multiplier. As an interim step I support an automatic one class bump-up for all p/p's, with the ultimate goal scrapping the entire enrollment-based classification system entirely and replacing it with a true system of promtion/relegation.

    As much as I would like IU to win I think this Saturday OSU swats the Hoosiers like a fly, 48-21. The Buckeyes need to teach these upstarts like IU a lesson.
