Mass shootings on the radar again.
Muda69 replied to swordfish's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
My old savage arms over/under 410 22, both single shot barrels, should be the only firearm available to non-military U.S. citizens. No 2nd amendment violations there, right? -
Question about GID thread policy
Muda69 replied to Muda69's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Correct, they don't have to. But there is something, although dying in our society, called common courtesy. And I appreciate Jimmie taking the time out of his busy schedule to address my question promptly and honestly. So will other future threads about this subject, about other coaches at other schools, also be unceremoniously deleted/hidden? If so, and if this is now the official GID policy, IMHO it needs to be added to the GID posting guidelines. -
https://www.nationalreview.com/2019/08/book-review-the-college-dropout-scandal-underreported-problem/ These are shocking numbers, but I'm really not that surprised. More than ever colleges & universities are more than happy to take your or the government's money with little to no regard to whether or not you actually graduate.

Question about GID thread policy
Muda69 replied to Muda69's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Can somebody with legal experience please tell me exactly what kind of 'legal exposure' the GID may open itself up to by allowing this particular situation to be discussed on the GID, especially as I have said before previous similar situations have been discussed with zero legal ramifications? Why is Tri-West and Mr. Bruce treated like kryptonite? -
Question about GID thread policy
Muda69 replied to Muda69's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Wow, you really believe this particular case is that divisive? Similar discussions over different cases have been held on the GID and I don't recall legal action being threatened against the site itself. And yes I am disappointed that the free and open exchange of ideas is being curtailed on the GID, at least regarding this topic. -
Why was the thread which was originally created several months ago, concerning Tri-West and head football coach Mr. Bruce, apparently deleted/hidden from the The Indiana High School Football Forum? Especially when new information is starting to come to light? https://www.indystar.com/story/news/crime/2019/08/08/tyler-bruce-tri-west-abuse-molestation-allegations/1959319001/

Rep. Joaquin Castro's Doxxing of Trump Donors in His District Has Flipped the Campaign Finance Discourse on Its Head: https://reason.com/2019/08/07/rep-joaquin-castros-doxxing-of-trump-donors-in-his-district-has-flipped-the-campaign-finance-discourse-on-its-head/ 63.4K people are talking about this The tweet listed the employers of these Trump donors, including a dozen who said they were retired, and one self-described "homemaker." Conservatives blasted Castro for the tweet. .... Castro himself is not backing down, arguing that he did not create the graphic (it reportedly originated from an activist group) and that this is all public information anyway. "No one was targeted or harassed in my post. You know that. All that info is routinely published," he said in response to McCarthy. 36.6K people are talking about this There is a difference, however, between campaign finance information being available and a member of Congress broadcasting that information on social media. Castro also appears to be trying to draw a link between donors to Trump's campaign and the recent El Paso shooting, the perpetrator of which wrote a manifesto denouncing immigrants as "invaders." After the conservative backlash to his tweet, Castro retweeted a couple of supporters who made this link explicit. .... And while reasonable people may not be able to reasonably disagree on Trump, Castro's tweet is just deepening the divide. He has given every person he singled out even more reason to support Castro's opponents, particularly since the nature of social media virality almost guarantees each of those individuals has received or will receive unpleasant messages thanks to Castro's spotlight. Whatever divisions he was hoping to fix, he has only deepened. How true. And as one of the comments to this story posits: "One thing the otherwise well written article leaves out is that Castro apparently redacted the names of Hispanic Trump voters and doxed only the nonHispanic Trump supporters. That fact puts lie to any claim that he did this for “transparency”. If he thinks it is so important for people who donated to Trump to be publicly known, why is it somehow not important for Hispanics who do so to be doxed? He did this because he wants the mob to terrorize these people for the crime of disagreeing with him. But hey, he makes up for it by targeting them for their race as well. So there is that." -

Here is how the states with "red flag" laws fail to protect the constitutional rights of gun owners.: https://reason.com/2019/08/07/republicans-who-support-gun-confiscation-laws-imagine-due-process-that-does-not-exist-on-paper-or-in-practice/ Yep, Red Flag laws are mostly a joke, and deny individuals their 2nd amendment rights. And that pesky 2nd amendment is the crux of the entire matter. Only a partial or full repeal/rewriting of the 2nd amendment will cause any real or lasting change. And is there the political will in Washington and the enough will among Americans to see such a thing through to the end? -

Yes it does. Here is more: https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/new-york-city’s-15-minimum-wage-now-officially-disaster-71761 So according to logic from the likes of Dante only those 4 percent of survey respondents truly are worthy of staying in business. If you can't continue to grow your business, keep prices the same, and keep all your current employees even under these draconian wage hike laws you deserve to fail.

No, I probably won't because a.) My spouse and I have property prepared to fund our own retirement and b.) by the time I and my spouse are of proper retirement age SS will be defunct or only be paying a small percentage of benefits, courtesy of the swindle you and the other baby boomers upheld on future Americans. -

What? You mean there should be verifiable evidence when it comes sexual harassment/assault/abuse allegations? That surely will trigger individuals on the Purdue and other college campuses. -

No, I don't want your stolen money. Besides, I'm sure your Arcadia mansion is gated and surrounded by a moat. -

Nice of your to pull out that old cliche. I haven't lived with my parents for almost 40 years now. Nice try, old man. Old dead-eye Gonzo only needs a six-shooter to take out all of his imaginary opponents, trying to steal his fortune of social security $ stashed underneath the mattress of the Hamilton county mansion. -

And you would be wrong. Again. Went to the Clinton County fair a couple of times just last month. Also visited the Miami County fair in late June. Again, please tell us all about your shooting prowess. -

And don't forget the Boston Marathon bombings happened under Mr. Obama's watch, as retribution for the USA's endless 'wars' in the Middle East. Not all mass killings involve firearms.
