    I disagree high school football coaches job is to win and build a respectable program not send kids to the next level. If you are good enough you will make on the next level regardless of what offense you run.

    In the region seems like there is no big money affluent communities. Seems like the blue collar workers populate all communities. Munster maybe being the exception.

    Add griffith and 2 Hammond schools then divide north south and have a conference championship game like the big ten north-Hammond central, Morton, highland, Munster, and griffith. South- Andrean, Hobart, KV, HC, and Lowell.

    Forget conferences go to districts like Illinois was going to. Seems like it solves a lot of problems from scheduling to playing similar sizes schools.

    What is the reason for it being a touchback? Rewarding the kicker, player safety, or some other reason?

    Because you can run from 8 yards deep and the opposing team has a further running start and it’s a high speed collision that’s my only guess? I hate a lot of myself for example defensive PI should be a spot foul and the receiver and qb should get stats for those.

    Total agreement not sure what they were thinking. Can’t use the excuse they didn’t want to feel like clark was taken over by Hammond high because that’s what Morton did to Gavit. Plus the new building is close to the old Hammond high just baffled by this as well.
