In regards to Bowen he might be like former Andrean lb Barajas, got recruited to ND couldn’t hack it and ended up at fcs Illinois State. Or he might end up like Lonnie Jones Kentucky to 2nd round draft pick.

I think that goes without saying he is from south lake county and attends a private school so I think he is fine academically.

What I meant by that for a prospect like himself high school is irrelevant for his recruitment, whatever he does in games will not count against or help him.

I think he would like to play in a competitive environment, probably half his games he will be playing 2 quarters. we all know what you do in high school is irrelevant, it’s all measurable and camp exposure.

Not sure who is advising him but he should transfer to merrillville, crown point, Indy 6a or IMG academy.

This changes the game in football the non power 5 and fcs will be like minor leagues. You might see power 5 school not even recruit freshman anymore. Seems like a waste back in the day in the region we had a recruiting fair at merrillville high school that was free. Like big bh say recruiting for small colleges don’t pick up till senior year. More than likely good grades would get you into more smaller school then ability.
