    This is what I don’t understand notre dame and Texas a&m already got blasted by Clemson and bama so why are they 4 and 5? give cinncy a chance also if you are truly doing the 4 best teams consider Florida and Georgia Florida played bama tough as anyone this year and Georgia was without their starting QB in the beginning of the year.

    Any age is fine it’s just the practice that is over the top. Even in high school there are to many padded practices and tackling in practice. In college they don’t tackle in practice so why does high school?

    I feel like Clemson will beat Nd by 14 plus eliminating them bama will destroy Florida eliminating them Ohio state wins out i think Cinncy wins big this week vs ranked Tulsa leap frogging them over TAMU It can get very interesting if Michigan pulls out this week and Ohio state doesn’t have enough games to get t big ten title game, but I think they might change the bylaws to get them in.

    So using that logic if Florida beats bama will the playoff be 2 acc and 2 sec? I think Nd is getting to much credit for that 1st Clemson win. I mean Clemson was missing the best qb prospect since Peyton Manning. the playoff should be bama Clemson Ohio state and Cinncy

    Split private and public into there own tournament private is 2 classes big and small public goes on as is now 1-6 with success factor will create parity and easy to implement

    Since this started as an Elkhart thread that consolidated what are the feasibility of these consolidations? hobart lake station river forest? whiting ec? calumet griffith? can you think of any others?

    What’s wrong with those games? It’s like Purdue playing Indiana state. Not every game needs to competitive. Sometimes you want an easy game to let everyone play in. Plus on the other side the smaller schools always want to see how they stack up vs the big dogs.

    I think Illinois uses the record of your opponents as qualifying criteria they can use that and sagarin Illinois has the issue where Chicago public seeded teams get seeded high but lose 1st couple rounds because they don’t play anyone
