Whiting is 2a now. From my perceptive I have no issues with large schools scheduling small schools. gives them a chance to play everyone and possibly rest people during the week. Sometimes you get a pioneer Chesterton scenario and the small school wins.

In terms of athletic scholarship money naia is higher. But I believe there are some d3 with large academic scholarships that pay more then naia.
