I think AC will win this, but I think it will be closer than what you think. AC has only played 3-4 teams with winning records this year.

    Panthers

    Hanover

Judson by 2-3 scores, but only if they dont come in with Winamac hangover. If they let Culver get rolling it could be tighter.

True the ACAC conference is horrible but credit AC for playing Eastside and Park Heritage out of conference.  Two very impressive games.  They legit.

AC just wants to beat Triton first. One week at a time.

Are u seriously worries about getting beat by Triton?  Cmon man 77 vs 32.  Everything is set up for AC this year …including a 1A classification.  I’m going to say it.   If AC does not get to state it will be a disappointing season.  Similar to SA expectations last year …. SA delivered… same is expected from AC.  The ONLY thing in the way is 6” of mud in Berne in 2 weeks.

Firstly, I think the Knights need to get healthy. Sir Hale was in a walking boot last week and also had a couple others starters dinged up. Secondly, I think after the Snider game debacle, field and weather conditions are something to keep an eye on. If it’s another mudder next week then I think maybe the edge shifts to Eastside.

Luers would be foolish to play on grass if there is rain in the forecast.

I watched the 3rd and part of the 4th quarter and I was more concerned with the field conditions.  That field was entirely mud.  This wasn't a true indication of how good these two teams were.  We live in a time where a lot of schools have turf fields.  You can't tell me that there wasn't a school nearby who wasn't using their field that could've allowed this game to played there?

I feel bad that some of these kids had to end their season playing in those conditions.

Didn’t know AC was at Bluffton.  Heritage wouldn’t been the closest.

They need him this week! He could be a difference maker with his athleticism compared to the first matchup. You'd have to respect his dual threat capabilities, while without him it's either passing or handing off to a RB. He could bring RPO for SA.

Odd John Harrell has SA winning by 1 after losing by 23 earlier in the year.

Any thoughts on Triton @ Northfield? Seems to be 2 evenly matched teams on paper. Sagarin has Northfield as about 10-point favorites and JH has Northfield winning 28-21. @WalterSobchak How did Triton look against Winamac?

Northfield got handled by Bluffton (1st game of the year I know) and then goes 6-3 which means 3 rivers conference is in the running with ACAC for the worst conference in Indiana.  Sagarin says Northfield by 7 but I’m not buying it.  Triton wins in a squeaker.

    Yes he would.

He had 5 carries for 76 yards and two TDs rushing the ball and went 10-12 for 3 TDs and no picks w 182 yards passing.

The fact they are 8-2 and he didn't play in 8 games is a big deal for SA.

    Hope he can come back.

Hope he can play as well.  Senior I believe.  With respect to the 8 wins… those were some bad teams.  SA needs him to have a shot.

Homestead at Carroll - Chargers welcome the Spartans to their home this week, new stadium gives them the edge. Carroll by 6

Northrop at Snider - Panthers prove once again that they own Spuller. Snider by 35

North Side at Bishop Dwenger - Can the Saints redeem themselves from a mediocre regular season with a deep run into the playoffs? Probably not, but the Legends give them somewhere to start. Bishop Dwenger by 26

Wayne at Delta - I think the Generals are on a path to build a good program. The Eagles prove too much for this upcoming team. Delta by 11

Concordia at Norwell - I don't follow a lot of teams outside of the SAC, and the Knights are not one of them. But from what I see, this is a highly underrated program. Cadets get shut out. Norwell by 31

Bishop Luers at Prairie Heights - The Knights take out their anger from another Panther team on this Panther team. Bishop Luers by a Gajillion

Homestead / Carroll - pick em - taking Carroll by 3

    Northrop / Snider - Panthers by 14

NS / Dwenger - Closer than it maybe should be. Dwenger by 10

Wayne / Delta - Don’t think Delta is as dominate as the SS game implies but still has enough to win by 7

Concordia / Norwell - Cadets knocked knights out last 2 years but graduated a bunch and didn’t reload like Norwell. Knights by 10

Luers with a Bye and 2 weeks to get ready for Eastside

“Slamming?” I didn’t get that at all. I think all he was doing was pointing out that Indianapolis Lutheran and Adams Central were, according to Sagarin, about 15 points better than everyone else in 1A.

Correct.  I apparently should’ve provided some additional background and perhaps used smaller words.
