The problem is there are so few professional athletes to serve as role models for today's youth as it relates to how to conduct yourself. Social media is the worst and the young generation views Twitter and Instagram as the end all be all. Another quote that I like that I feel applies to many of today's youth. It was said by Bryce Young's father the night he won the Heisman Trophy. "If you are the best at your gym, find a new gym."

My favorite quote to tell my students and athletes: "When you're good, you tell others. When you're great, others tell you."

I will also never accept the lazy "its part of the game" nonsense. Do better. Our youth deserve it.

Guess that “disarray” didn’t last very long huh? Don’t look now but with Michigan’s pat a cake 2022 schedule (would almost make an ND fan blush) and returning talent, the Wolverines are primed to make another playoff run next fall.

If a guy with a career winning percentage of 47 percent as a starter is a hall of fame player I guess the criteria is too complicated for me to understand. Great stats, played on some poor teams, but playing the most important position in sports, eventually wins and losses HAVE to matter. FWIW, I don’t think Eli Manning is a hall of famer either.
