  1. Not as much as I do, trust me.
  2. What do Warren/CG have to gain from that potential matchup? And why do you think this is?
  3. Thought I saw the DL kid didn’t play either.
  4. Ask @BTF how bets go with me on here. (Hint: I don’t lose.) Predicting the demise of the Center Grove machine is such an amateur move. They are winning at all levels right now (varsity, JV and freshman). I believe they lost 1-2 games this season COMBINED. They, not Warren or Ben Davis are now the transfer destination of central Indiana talent. I’d also go in depth regarding the SES component but every time I do, I hurt @Footballking16’s feelings. I made another bold statement on here a while back that I will also stick to. Westfield wins a 6A title before Warren or Ben Davis wins their next one.
  5. I’m not sure how you beat them… Run the ball 50+ times and control the clock? Score TD’s in the red zone. Can’t settle for FG’s? Bend but don’t break and hold them to FG’s whenever possible in the red zone? Tackle their receivers in space? Get to the quarterback and don’t let him get comfortable? Get some turnover luck and win that battle?
  6. While it looks better for the Irish this morning than it did yesterday I’m not so sure this is entirely true. What’ll be interesting is if Bama loses a close one to UGA do they have the balls to drop them out? They wouldn’t go to 4 because of a rematch. Then, does the big 12 champ jump ND (especially if it’s Okie State who has 1 loss) while the Irish are sitting at home? They CAN’T jump Cincinnati if the Bearcats continue to step on the gas like they did yesterday. As to your other point. While I don’t label myself a Notre Dame “hater” I don’t like em. I think Kelly is slightly above average on game days but he’s a great recruiter. They are benefiting right now from the fact that their “rivals” are all in a downward spiral. They were heads and shoulders above every team on their schedule this year in terms of talent.
  7. I thought there were 3-4 for some reason. @Grover?
  8. BD should make the semi state annually in the current tournament format. It should be a formality. A regular season finale against annual MIC bottom feeder North Central, followed by a bye week and then two gimmes before the regional. Gimme a break. State championships are how the BD program measures itself. Not wins over IPS, Perry Township and suburban schools.
  9. I’ll still take CG in 2022. You can have the field.
  10. “You can tell the difference in the way they conduct themselves on the sideline.” ”You can tell the difference in the way they are prepared for situational football.” DYING for specific examples to these two claims.
  11. How’d that workout when Merrillville scheduled CHATARD in 2020? Win those ones first, otherwise beating the MIC in the regular season and tournament is a pipe dream.
  12. Quite the opposite actually Bobby. I cashed in on this bet (as well as IU under 8 last week). Pretty weak schedule for the Irish honestly and it finally looks like not playing in a conference title game is going to hurt them for a change.
  13. Making this even scarier, rumor has it CG was down 2-3 studs. @Grover, can you confirm?
  14. Just saying, the folks here love to give me shit but the HCC (barring conference realignment) will put everyone in the rear view mirror by then.
  15. Give it 4-5 more.
  16. Westfield and Brownsburg as common opponents. Cathedral beat both, 14-0 and 20-7 respectively. Zionsville lost to both 42-21 and 19-6.
  17. True story. If you had this matchup as recently as three weeks ago, would you also bother sharing this weekend’s lottery numbers? Absolutely LOVE fresh blood at Lucas Oil.
  18. I could be misremembering but if I am not mistaken many folks were surprised Zionsville remained as competitive as they did last year…
  19. Closer than last year’s 18 point margin of victory or no?
  20. We were betting with our heads…you were using your heart.
  21. LOL @ Cathedral at 100%…never seen that before.
  22. Better hope this wind tunnel that has engulfed the Midwest makes its way out before kickoff.
  23. Wait, the coaches are battle tested? Do tell.
  24. I'll take the other side here and like my chances of being proven correct as there are countless examples in every sport that bear this out. Last week's "wake up call" against LN will be fuel and allow CG to focus more upon the Giants this week and they will break open a close game early in the second half...just like last year.
